(Marcus Thompson) With Wright out, Nellie will have to play Maggette more than he prefers to. MT looks at some of the alternatives that Nellie could go with, but Maggette at the 4 seems to be the best available solution.

Notes: Nelson said he’s not going to name another captain to replace Stephen Jackson. The Warriors will go with the three they have: guard Monta Ellis, Biedrins and Turiaf. … Multiple sources confirmed former executive vice president of basketball operations Chris Mullin had the makings of a deal in place to send Jackson to the Eastern Conference, as Yahoo Sports reported Thursday. One of the sources said there were talks that included Detroit Pistons forward Tayshaun Prince. But the deal was nixed by team president Robert Rowell’s extension talks with Jackson.

Thanks Rowell

Yet another great move we have made. Lets see if we can pull it off now and send them George, Claxton and Moore and a second round pick and maybe they would consider it.

Focus...

We need to get rid of jackson first. At least Maggette will play for us. Yes he got over paid but at least he’s productive on the offensive side of the ball, while jackson throws up wild shots and shoots us out of games….

TRADE JACKSON NOW!!!
