Jack Needs a New Nickname

Stephen Jackson has lost the right to be called "Captain Jack." Of course, we at GSoM take our nicknames very seriously. We ought to think about this in a cool and collected fashion and come up with a logical, catchy, inventive and appropriate nickname. Of course, we do this in a Democratic fashion by voting for it, as we always do.

Let us consider some of the most pronounced characteristics of the player formerly known as Captain Jack. Or let's not and just have a bunch of random nicknames and get it over with and vote on them:

Silly me

I bought a Jackson jersey at the end of the season thinking there was truth to the whole "I want to be a Warrior for life" comment. I still want to wear the damn thing so I’ll probably just tape the word ASS over SON…. Problem solved!

Even Though Kobe Said it . . . Whats better than the actual name that sparked his outburt: “young fella.”

I'd say Mr T

Of course, I don’t pity that jackass fool.

Jack "The Revolutionary"

Peacefully bringing attention to the incompetence in leadership that has lasted for far too long. He brings the end of the “Dark Ages.” Change and the renewed sense of real hope will overcome the people and, in time, their patience and belief shall finally be rewarded. Where reaching the “Promised Land” is no longer unattainable and the man being judged and ridiculed, in this present day, will have been the one who set us free. I hate Rowell for life. Peace.

I like to call him Gumpy or Troll

Because he looks like a troll and his game is so gumpy and trollish, I’ve been using these two for about the last 2 seasons.

It's all about the killer cross-over baby!

Judas, Benedict Arnold, Brutus, Backstabber McGee

Backstabber McGee

Naticus will like that. I’m surprised he hasn’t given all of the Warriors “McGee” nicknames. He did it for a large number of our friends.

by toddaverth on Oct 21, 2009 3:25 AM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

I am for any McGree nickname.

Randolph: Super Stick-figure McGee
Wright: One-Arm McGee
Biedrins: Glue McGee
Turiaf: Big Heart McGee
Moore: Old Man McGee
Azubukie: Shot-put McGee
Law: Mini McGee-ty
Watson: Silent McGee

Claxton/George: DNP-CD McGee

LOL

Well done. Well done. We would do well to spread the good word of McGee nicknames for the Dubs. One-Arm McGee > Broken Wing troubled young Warrior of the Weesuk tribe.

Welcome to the Pit of Despair! Don't even think about trying to escape.
