Around SBN: Dissecting Nick Diaz's Positive Drug Test

" "Me saying something isn't helping anything, and you all asking me questions isn't helping anything," Jackson said. "It's time to be quiet and see what happens."

...Maybe those days are over. After working hard to look unenthusiastic in practice Tuesday and Wednesday, Jackson was back to being his competitive, passionate self Friday.

"I'm glad that all of this stuff is starting to go away," Jackson said. "... In my world it all has gone away."
At media day, Jackson said he felt the team has progressively gotten worse, but three weeks of practice with the current roster has changed his mind.

"I'm surprised how much better we are right now than we were last year at this point," Jackson said. "... I will give my team that compliment." "

I won't say that everything is now wonderful and there will be no problems from here on out, but this is good news. Jackson even made a comment that indicated he understood the Warriors were not just going to send him away for garbage - and that that is a compliment. He even said he could see being here all season (though he didn't see the issues going completely away.) These statements give me some hope that things will continue to improve between Jackson and the Warriors and work out well for both parties.

I know. I know. It's the Warriors. Hope usually leads to a broken heart, but I'm going to hope anyway.

Right, Jack. Your opinion is the most important one of all. The final word. The definitive analysis. Um, yeah, cough cough.

who cares about drama?

  I like drama, queen

Standing on the moon
Where talk is cheap and vision true
Standing on the moon
But I would rather be with you
Somewhere in San Francisco
On a back porch in July
Just looking up to heaven
At this crescent in the sky
