Improving defense is a point of attention
(Rusty Simmons) The Warriors coaching staff has been planning how to preach and teach defense since the summer. Much of this effort is led by Keith Smart, with lots of quotes about what he sees the Warriors need to work on. Various players understand the importance of improving defense, even in training camp.

A tad overdue
but did anyone notice that he said Maggette was one of our best defenders? I kind of feel like he just lost all credibility.
