Um that would be ignorant
  • Buddhism is not Taoism
  • Defacing a picture of Buddha is not classy- how would folks take it if there was a picture of Jesus Christ with the face of a basketball player with very questionable character?

Why so serious?

If it was jesus, I would still laugh. I understand if you find it offensive though. I think we know what ATB1’s religion is now…..

Would you laugh if someone confused Islam with Christianity?

IG-NENT on so many levels.

To be honest

I’m not very religious so it would not personally effect me but I will respect your opinion on this as well. Things are made fun of all the time but in your opinion this maybe to touchy and that’s okay.

I wouldn't care if it were Jesus, Buddha, or anyone else for that matter

It is people that take offense to things that are obviously done in jest that also take their lords name, who ever that might be, as their reason to go to war. I don’t believe in war, but I do believe all gods have a sense of humor.
lighten up pal, if Stephen Jackson did not say such retarded things, would this have ever come to be?
Blame Stephen Jackson, the NBA’s biggest retard.

That’s weak, completely missing the point, and a pretty illogical flow of reasoning. You want us to blame Stephen Jackson for your errors— 1) ignorantly confusing Buddhism and Taoism, 2) defacing Buddha, and 3) eagerly hyping/ spreading your ignorance on another site? You’re kidding right?

All you had to say was “My bad. That was silly of me to confuse Taoism and Buddhism. I also understand why some folks wouldn’t appreciate a picture defacing Buddha with Stephen Jackson. No harm intended.”

No one would be tripping or upset if you said that instead of your curious and nonsensical rambling.

Protect the Knowledge before worrying about protecting the paint, young fella.

If you take this serioiusly, you need to grow up

First off, claiming to blame Jackson is “a joke”, so i think you completely miss all aspects of the humor. You obviously take things way too seriously. If you want, I’ll make Stephen Jackson as Jesus, or any other deity you feel forthright to request.

Second of all, if you do any research Taoism instructors, you will find a links like this:
http://i.ehow.com/images/GlobalPhoto/Articles/4622765/TheImmortalSouloftheTaoistAdept-main_Full.jpg

which depicts images just similar and akin to the likeness portrayed on the site.
If I offend you, then for that I sincerely apologize, but it is made for fun, not seriousness.
Ignorance? you must not have researched Taosim as much as I did.
So who is the ignorant one, “young fella?”
I did like that one, that was a great reference on your behalf to the original dialect of this entire insanity,
Job well done.
OH here is another one for you!

Part of growing up is empathy- understanding that other people think and feel differently from yourself.

Saying “well I thought it was funny!” doesn’t make something less offensive to someone else.

Young fella- you Photoshopped over a Buddha picture. That right hand gesture he’s holding is significant. Don’t get it twisted because you found some other Taoist meditation depiction.
(Much respect to Buddhism and Taoism.)

Young fella- your humor is just not very good.
(Neither is your writing or logical flow, but that’s another topic for another day.)

Young fella- Pay attention to the old NBA campaign— Stay in Skool.

Young fella- you Photoshopped over a Buddha picture?

Don’t know but That looks like Mrs Budda to me?
The first one looks sorta like an old Beatles album cover from their India trippin days.
The important question is did those kids learn any universal truths from MasterJak?
Looks like he’s showing them the secret of the relationship between the circumference of the thumb and index finger circle and dik size?

Standing on the moon
Where talk is cheap and vision true
Standing on the moon
But I would rather be with you
Somewhere in San Francisco
On a back porch in July
Just looking up to heaven
At this crescent in the sky
