A chill in the air between Stephen Jackson and Kobe Bryant
Bryant was the last of the 10 starters to come onto the court. He gave a slap to four of the Warriors’ starter, including a hug for his former teammate Turiaf. Jackson was last. Bryant walked by and patted a stretching Jackson, who returned the gesture. No eye contact.
It’s clear the two aren’t friends.

But I would rather be with you

That would be a great rivalry if the Warriors were actually good.
I can really imagine a Jackson/Bryant rivalry if the Warriors faced the Lakers in the 2nd or 3rd round of the Playoffs. I know Jackson isn’t an all-star, but he could probably make clutch shots against the Lakers to add steam to the rivalry. Remember when Jack and Kobe were hitting back-to-back-to-back 3s against each other in the 07-08 season? What a great game.
The rivalry would have it’s best moments in crunch time, when Jackson’s at his best. But too bad the Warriors might not be that great this year; If only this rivalry happened when the We Believe team was still together.
