Yeah, and I can guess why

It will be fun offensively, but not defensively. We’ll just have to see.

true sir

So it would be Curry on Brooks and Ellis on Ariza? Yeah, dont like that really

Ammo should start

Yes Curry has been a good passer but 1 game where he shoots well and he’s better then Ammo? Ammo has been amazing so far. I want to see more from Curry before he’s a starter

I agree

I like Curry a lot but who sits down when Morrow comes off the bench? Morrow should start and let Curry initially replace Monta.

Once in a while you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

I’d love to see both Morrow and Curry come off the bench and replace our backcourt.

Monta's probably unhappy because

On defense, he’ll be the one that has to guard the bigger players when him and Curry are on the court

Didn't curry say

he would be guarding Ariza?

by saintdee on Oct 25, 2009 1:34 PM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

Truth is...

Monta needs to worry about taking advantage of slower SG that will gaurd him…thats his job, he obviously can’t play PG, or he would be doing it already…

Yeah

Monta already knows he can score on offense. He’s not going to worry about taking advantage of people guarding him because he’ll already be scoring regardless.

I think he’s a little unhappy because of what the backcourt will face on defense. Sure, he’ll be happy that him and Curry will do great on offense but then Monta will have to guard 6’6" players on a nightly bases. I know he shouldn’t be complaining, but it’s hard having to be a top scorer on the team and then also having to get mismatched on defense on every play.

Exactly

If Monta was the best point guard on the team Nellie would be starting him there – which he isn’t.

The focus should be on the fact that the overall skill set of Curry and Ellis could very well be above that of Ariza and Brooks.

Selling out

to the media and the casual fans who think a prolific small school college scorer is the same thing as an NBA allstar. If this was baseball we’d send him to the minors and not have to go thru this crap.
We’ll see how much Montay has learned in his 3 years in the NBA once Curr-bury and him try to defend a playoff level team? My money is on Montay knowing what he was talking about cause he’s a relative vet compared to the little Curr?
Of course this could just be nellie looking for a way to spoil things again so he can claim the underdog position without doubt? Maybe this new edition has Montay playing the JRich part and Curr-bury the Montay role?

Monta*

How do people still get his name wrong?

Rookie: "Why did you bench me?"
Nellie: "You're a rookie"

in preseason?

its not lik monta was a bad passer in preseason…. he had games wher he had lik 10 assissts too (n less turnovers) but its not a big deal anway bc nellie changes lineups mor than silk shirts lol

I like it... but I would also start Morrow over Jack.

I’ve said before we need stability and time to gel as a team. Let’s start to build chemistry now for the future. Warrior starters should be:

Curry
Monta
Ammo
AR
Beans

I Think...

Monta is mad cause Riley and Nellie flew down south, told him he was the point guard, and opening night hasn’t came and he lost that title to a ROOKIE… Ego= Shattered
