Ultimate Jack Trade Proposal

Jackson + Maggette for Big Z + JJ Hickson + J. Williams. (And we agree to release Big Z) Here is why Cleavland would do it: -Jackson helps their starting lineup, giving them defense and a good 4th option on the offensive end. He can help move the ball as well. On a team with Shaq + Lebron, they can control his ego/drama and make sure he is under control. -Maggette can help the Cavs a lot IMO. The cavs seem to not have any offensive options when Shaq/Lebron are resting, Maggette will give them the instant offense they need on their secondary lineup. Here's why the Warriors would do it: -We are a young team and would lose the two players that really hurt the progress of our young players -We get a young PF that can help backup now that "Broken Wing" is out. Make it happen plz!

Cleveland is 0-2 and sinking like a rock. They will soon to lose Lebron and you don’t think they are desperate enough to trade Z and Hickson? Z is retiring and so they will keep Hickson to in essense lose Lebron? When they could get back a guy like Jackson? So the trade is really

Sinking like a rock after 2 games, one of them against the Celtics? Really? You’re also talking like it’s a sure thing Lebron is gone. Not sure why you think that. Cleveland does want to do what they can to keep him around, but “desperate” is a little out there, don’t you think?

All I know is Cleveland is in a precarious situation of high expectations and the risk of losing their star. If they feel inadequate in any way, they will make a very willing and motivated trade partner.

And that’s a fair point, and why they seem to have at least some interest in Jackson. They’re certainly in “win-now” mode. I just thought your first post was way too extreme (and too a degree I couldn’t tell if you were being serious and was really asking if it was) – 2 games is less than 2.5% of the season, and as I said, I don’t think Cleveland is “desperate” as much as in “win now mode”. I think they’re the most likely destination for Lebron after this season – where else is he going to go, NY? They don’t exactly have more talent to surround Lebron with than Cleveland, you know?

Damn neither link works

The first one is Jackson, Maggette, and Law for Stojakovic and Peterson. Mo Pete and Peja both have 2 year deals. Peja’s for 13mil+, Mo Pete’s for 5mil+

The second one is Jackson for Peterson and Julian Wright, who has a 2 yr 2mil+
