Will we still pickup his option?

Rookie: "Why did you bench me?"
Nellie: "Your a rookie"

i hope we do

but they were waiting until the last minute to sign him in case something just like this happens. They no hes injur prone, and said they were waiting until the end of october, in case he injured himself. Well, at least or F.O. is playing their cards more catiously, and are trying to have foresight. But i still think we should pick him up. He was poised for a big year.

w's may have dodged a bullet

why pick up his option? they can trade him as another expiring.

pick up the option on more Potential?!??!
bad idea.

he’s a nice player, but for a PF, he’s way to injury prone

I thought he bulked up?

A slap on the arm and the guy is out 6 months?

I dunno if it’s too early to call him an injury prone player, but 2 shoulder injuries in a 10 month span isn’t a good sign. I think the decision to pick up his option just got a lot tougher, despite this “potential” everyone keeps talkin about.

You know how Tony.psd has the We Suck sign and the We Disgruntled sign? Tony, please make a We Cursed sign.

This is unfortunate

I was excited to see our skinny twin towers in action.

Funny how with everything else going wrong with the Warriors, this news seems to be light by comparison.

Son of a B.

I’m gonna break something.

Warriors, Stupidest franchise in the league.

The Awesomeness That Is Captain Jack -

Jackson on wanting to be on a winner: "I’m made for the playoffs and the championships. I’m Big Shot Jack. That’s what I do."

Jackson on wanting out after extension: "Who’s going to turn down that money? I didn’t go to college, but I’ve got a lot of common sense."

you're going to break something?

I really doubt the Warriors are going anywhere this season with or without Wright anyway.

true, but I think a lot of us were thinking that development from guys like Wright, Morrow, Curry, and Randolph would probably be the best thing to come out of this season. Now thats pretty unlikely to happen for Wright.

Now thats pretty unlikely to happen for Wright.

I feel sorry for the kid, too. There was a lot of buzz about how much more assertive Wright was during the training camp, his extra weight, his effort in trying to rebound, etc. Nellie has praised Wright’s improvements, including ranking him a bit above Randolph so far in training camp. Now we’ll never know.

We can always hope that it’s just a sting, but…

Wright suffered the injury when a defender slapped his left arm hard during a shot attempt in Friday’s evening practice.
He took a hard foul on his left forearm, jolting his shoulder as he tried to finish the shot.

doesn’t give me much hope. The way I’m imagining how it happened, it sounds like that shoulder’s done for the season.

that’s probably what Rudolf said as he whacked Wright?

oh god. Mikki Moore and Devean George are probably gonna see minutes at PF. It might be time to start the “tank for the #1 pick” bandwagon.

maybe but I’m thinking something more like John Wall+Steph Curry > anything this team could accomplish this season.

wow

I was really excited for him this upcoming season, I thought he’d finally get healthy and have a breakout year. He still hasn’t had a shot at proving himself yet. Just a couple games, and when he did get minutes last season he got that shoulder injury which gave an opportunity for AR4 to finally get on the court and prove how good he is.

too bad

He has talent, but can’t stay healthy. Maybe it’s just the curse of being a Warrior. I say don’t pick up his option and seriously think about getting a new training staff.

Shoulder injuries never fully heal. Kinda was expecting this to happen, not so soon though. Hope we can still use him in a trade to try to go for Bosh/Amare using Wright + Andris + expiring + 1st rounder.
