With the unlikelihood of Bosh or Stoudemire. How about considering Brand.

We send Jackson and Claxton to Philly
We get back Brand. The trade works on salaries

We could get rid of Both Monta Jackson and Claxton for
Brand and Dalembert. It works too.

Any other ideas?

nice, but ...

isn’t Brand the guy the Warriors offered the max salary to after Baron bolted and he STILL ended up going to the Sixers for less dough? Just what we need, another big salary player on the roster who would rather be somewhere else.

I watched the Sixers/Bucks game on League Pass this morning and Brand was solid in that win. He hasn’t played with the Sixers nearly enough since going to Philly to make any impact, but I think as he continues to play, the Sixers are going to be much more reluctant to deal him.

HAHAHAHA

Are you serious? did you read the link?
"
In Philadelphia’s opening night game Wednesday in Orlando, Brand looked like a car with too many miles on the tires. Injuries have robbed him of the power and athleticism that once made him so attractive."

Why do we want this guy? He USED to be good.. but he isn’t anymore. He doesn’t fit Nellie’s system. If he isn’t good with a young phillies team why would he be good with us?

Also his contract is as bad as SJax

signing him would prevent us from signing our future pieces.
?
He had eight points and six rebounds in 31 minutes, which wouldn’t be bad if he were a role player making $3 million this season. But he’s not. He is a $15 million player. He is a two-time All-Star and former Rookie of the Year (2000)."
