Warriors anxious to part ways with Jackson
Excerpts:
"NBA sources said the team is optimistic a deal can be completed within the next few weeks."
"two Golden State players told Yahoo! Sports on Monday that the team’s play – and overall morale – won’t truly improve until Jackson is gone."
"One of Jackson’s teammates said the Warriors have "serious chemistry issues," and is hopeful Jackson is traded before the team’s upcoming five-game trip ends in Boston on Nov. 18."
This trade cannot happen soon enough! Trade his ass already! Preferably to the Bobcats so we can get Diaw in return and I'd be ECSTATIC with Gerald Wallace as well...

We would be extremely lucky to get Diaw or Wallace for Jackson
If Jackson plays like he did last night though, it seems like more of a possibility then I would have thought a few days ago

Hmm, could this be why Jackson became a new player last night?
Fanshot: Warriors anxious to part ways with Jackson
Jackson, sources said, told his teammates after a recent practice he didn’t feel like part of the team.
He said he was surprised some of his teammates had begun to consider him a distraction, and said he had even held team barbecues to build camaraderie.
Well gee, Jack. If you stopped living inside your own head, you might recognize that you ARE a distraction. Oh, but then he gets predictably worse…
"It shouldn’t be [a distraction] because what’s going on with their contracts and their problems doesn’t affect my game," Jackson said. "It shouldn’t bother them. But if it does I guess they need to grow in the game – it’s not going to be the last time somebody wants to be out and they’re a big part of their team.
This quote is gold
"If it’s soon, I’m ready," Jackson told Yahoo! Sports after Monday’s game. "Can’t do nothing but be ready. I asked for it as long as it’s the right situation for me and it’s not done out of spite. I’ve done a lot for this team and this organization and I hope the respect stays the same way. If it does happen, I hope it’s somewhere where I want to be."
Hahahahahah… yea SJax unless you want to take a nice discounted buyout price I hope Larry Riley trades you to Minnesota or Memphis or some other rebuilding team.
You're right
At this point, I’d be content with some new balls and a towel boy in exchange for Jackson’s contract.
WARRIORS BASKETBALL!!! Patiently waiting for a title...I may be waiting for a long time...

content with wallace doesn't make sense
wallace would be AMAZING as a warrior, and would be equal or higher value than jack any day.

Content with G. Wallace?
Content, I’d be ecstatic. He’s an above average defender who’s extremely athletic. I view him as a Josh Smith type. He’s really being held down in Larry Brown’s methodical offense, and would thrive in the up and down game we play. But there’s no way they would trade Wallace.
Crazier trades have happened
Remember.. " We could never lose Murphy and Dunleavy in the same trade.."
Rookie: "Why did you bench me?"
Nellie: "You're a rookie"
also remember
that the last time Stephen Jackson was disgruntled and had to be traded the team that dealt him away had to take Mike Dunleavy and Troy Murphy back. ….and Stephen Jackson was 3 years younger then.
