Don Nelson on criticism from Jackson’s agent: "You guys know what that’s all about"
-Q: Is the all-time wins record important to you?
-NELSON: Naw, never has been. You know, all the stuff that… it’s important to some of my friends, but individual goals have never been real important to me. I said a long time ago, I hope I never get it, because Lenny deserves it, to keep it forever.
Don Nelson is simply now making excuses not to do good this season and we will be in tank mode by the end of the month! Do I smell a sub 20 win season?

Are you insinuating that Nellie will intentionally lose in order to not reach the record?? Or that he’ll use that excuse if we do lose??? Get real!! Some of the dubs fans on here have been tortured to being purely delusional. PS unless you hear the words coming out of Nellie’s mouth (audio or video interview) you can’t tell if he’s serious or not. He jokes all the time…

Don Nelson has always said that about the record
that he hopes Lenny keeps the record, even last season when asked about it. It’s his way of trying not to look like he wants it, and not putting pressure on himself to get it.
