Golden State Warriors are on the verge of another massive meltdown
Gary Peterson's attempt at predicting the Warriors' future. A very, very sad read and what's scary is that it all can be possible!

To true
Monta is a star in the making and will be an all star but does not get enough recognition here, AR is going to be great, Jack in Cleveland would be great, Losing Ammo and Beans are scary as is…… now I’m officially not depressed, but frightened.
Rookie: "Why did you bench me?"
Nellie: "You're a rookie"
And people wonder why newspapers go out of business? Maybe because “journalists” aren’t doing journalism anymore, and the fact that most subjects are covered by people trained in writing/journalism rather than having any knowledge of wtf they’re talking about? Just to throw some evidence in for fun, Peterson sees Jack averaging almost a triple doubl in Cleveland in his hypothetical scenario. Stephen Jackson rebounds like a PG, and not a particularly good rebounding PG at that. Jack has never averaged more than 4.0 rebounds per game in his entire career. He has never pulled down more than 5.0 rebounds per 36 minutes in his entire career (4.2 rebounds/36 for his career). Jack is going to average 8.5 rebounds per game for Cleveland? Really Peterson? Like I said….he doesn’t know what he’s talking about.

He also says that Biedrins is a reserve center for the east representing the Hornets?! Last time I checked, they were in the Western Conference…anyways, this fanshot was not supposed to be a real story but just a random read that I thought I’d want to share, nothing more, nothing less
WARRIORS BASKETBALL!!! Patiently waiting for a title...I may be waiting for a long time...

Yeah, I just like ripping on Bay Area newspaper writers. :)

Actually, he’s done it four times, including last season, when he managed a career-high 5.1 (in 39.6 mpg). Your basic point stands, of course … did this bozo really predict 8.5 rebounds per game?
There will be no extra point!

Wow. I was looking at his totals on B-R when I typed that. I figured out my mistake – was one column over to the left (in the DRB column) when I saw that. Oops. At least I tried, right? That’s more than most “journalists” can say. :)
At least I got the per 36 numbers right.
