J-Rich or Morrow?

There's no doubt that Anthony Morrow is a fan favorite and deservedly so. The guy is as pure a shooter as they come. Going into tonight's game, Morrow is 2nd in the league in 3 point shooting percentage just ahead of our old friend Jason Richardson who is 3rd in the league. This made me wonder. For the sake of this poll, let's overlook the fact that their salaries don't match. Assuming both will continue to shoot 3's equally as well for the remainder of the season, given the opportunity, would you trade new fan favorite Morrow to get old fan favorite J-Rich back? I'm having a tough time with this question as I think most GSOMers will too.

J-Rich

hands down. His game has more dimensions than Morrow’s and he’s such a physical player. However, J-Rich’s salary is ridiculous.

No

I wouldn’t trade Morrow for Richardson. I’d rather have Morrow’s upside rather than Richardson’s contract.

I loved J-Rich for us and everything he gave to the Warriors.

But I have moved on and I honestly think Morrow could end up being a better player.

A better player all around and not just a catch-n-shoot baller.

Hmm...

That’s if Morrow even sticks with us thru all this crap and more stupid drama that could be coming in the future.

Jason Richardson is old...

Morrow is young with incredible talent.
Also Jason Richardson has a fat contract while Morrow gets paid less than 1.5m a season.

Setting aside salaries? Assuming each would be on a one-year contract for identical pay?

Probably J-Rich. He’s the better rebounder and passer… both are bad defenders, but Morrow is still making some really fundamental mistakes that J-Rich no longer makes. Maybe J-Rich would revert to those same mistakes in a coaching-free environment like this. But as fun as Morrow is, J-Rich is the better bet right now.

The argument has never been that J-Rich can’t play. The argument has always been that J-Rich might not quite be worth his salary. And if you do factor in contracts, Morrow’s the better value by a comical margin. But J-Rich is still the better player.

J-Rich is the better player

But he wouldn’t be able to right this ship alone. We need more bigs to even have a chance at competing

Richardson....

He’s a better overall player and just as good shooting the long ball. Sure he has a bigger contract but he’s worth the money in my opinion.

How about we trade Jackson for Richardson?… =P

I love both of them

2 out of my 5 favorite players, but right now I’d rather have J-Rich..He’s still fairly young and athletic.

Kinda late for this

The time Jrich woulda helped us was 2007-08, now we’d just be bringing him down to put him here.
