Avery ruined the Mavs and almost ruined Devin Harris. Couldn’t get along with Josh Howard, Dirk Nowitzki & Jason Kidd. Loved Dampier.

Byron has had both teams he’s coached (the Nets & Hornets) quit on him. In the Hornets case, twice. He didn’t get along with Kidd, Kenyon Martin, Baron, CP3. Loved Scalabrine. Loves Hilton Armstrong.

among experienced coaches not currently employed, I’d rather have JVG (or if we’re going the rookie coach route Tom Thibodeau).

yea homer i’d rather see Van Gundy, Nelson is terrible right now. I doubt we could lure him here given the state of our management team. You know the idiots….Rowell and Cohan.
