Larry Riley Please Read
I posted a trade idea earlier of sending Stephen Jackson & Ronny Turiaf for Emeka Okafur with the Cavs sending Big Z to the Hornets. I thought of another trade to go along with that. if this these trades are realistic i think that they will make us into a much better team. if the first trade for Emeka Okafur were to go through successfully then i thought of this trade
Warriors Send: Andris Beidrins, Monta Ellis, and Speedy Claxton
Recieve: Rip Hamilton & Andrei Kirilenko
Pistons Send: Rip Hamilton
Recieve: Andris Biedrins
Utah Sends: Andrei Kirilenko
Receive: Monta Ellis & Speedy Claxton
I think its pretty obvious that the Warriors need to make some changes. if we were to add Okafur we would be able to trade Beidrins and the Pistons have shown interest in him before including a reported trade of Chauncey Billups for him last season. also i think they are lacking a big minute Center. For Utah i beleive this trade would be great for them, they could get out of Kirilinkos contract and add a huge threat offensively with Monta playing alongside Deron Williams and they get the expiring contract of Speedy for financial relief. only thing i see is us lacking big men, but its not like they get much playing time on this team.. and i feel like this is a very well balanced team with passing, rebounding, scoring, defence and size. What do you think?
Possible Warrior lineup:
Stephen Curry/CJ Watson/Acie Law
Rip Hamilton/Anthony Morrow
Andrei Kirilenko/Azubuike
Anthony Randolph/Correy Maggette
Emeka Okafur/Mikki Moore

No not the right trades
We cannot lose any bigs right now espescially or starting Center
also Rip Hamilton has a bad contract and we could get more for Monta
Plus you never want Corey Maggette to be our back up pf
and You know Nelly would rather play Maggette than randolph so Maggz would start
We don’t want that

Oh wait i didn't see that
i don’t mean to keep dogging you, but
Rip is definetly not worth Biedrins
and Kirilenko is not worth Monta

AK47 trade #250
I dont understand the fetish that there is on gsom towards him. He has a terrible contract for 2 years, and isnt the player he used to be.

Well, some people want to get rid of Jackson for him.

People have been posting trades for him long before Jackson demanded a trade.

I say go after Iggy or Joe Johnson
Something along the lines of Monta, Jackson, and Turiaf for Iggy and Dalembert
or Monta, Jackson, AR, and Claxton for Joe Johnson and Josh Smith
Or anything to Oklahoma City so we can get Thunder back.

Denied
That team is not much better than what we have now. And Ak is nice and all but he’s not what we think he is. If (and it’s a big if) we moved Monta it’d be him and Beans for a star… Not Rip or AK
Rookie: "Why did you bench me?"
Nellie: "You're a rookie"

Larry Riley...please ignore this request...
Turiaf is one of the few players that once we get rid of the cancer Jackson, will help bind these young guys together…he is also a blocking beast!
While I would consider getting rid of Ellis, I really want to get rid of Jackson first for anyone….and see how the guys play..

well i thought these trades are very realistic,i also thought that this would also allow some of our younger players a chance to step up like Curry,AR and Morrow.and i don’t see talent being an issue on this team it seems to be chemistry along with other factors i feel like has to do with coaching.Nellie would probally start either Kirilenko or Maggs at the 4 over AR which i do not understand so maybe a new coach to go along with it?

They’re realistic trades because they are just so terrible for the Warriors.

No thanks...
That is an incredibly weak line-up with possibly no chemistry.

how about
Jackson and Claxton for Okafor.
Its worth a shot…NO needs help on the wings, they need to keep paul happy by trying to improve, the get an expiring contract in claxton and we need rebounding and defense
If they’re willing to trade okafor for thomas then this cant be that far fetched

It is a little far fetched...
NO is probably looking to take off the most salary possible… and adding Jax wouldn’t do that. We do have enough expiring contracts in Claxton, Law, George to make an equivalent offer to the Hornets… but it would require them waiving some players since they are at the 15 player cap.
Also, while it would make us better immediately… I don’t know if it would be a good move. Okafor has 5 years left on that deal making our ridiculously inflexible cap situation even worse.

So you're saying its not even worth a shot
If they’re actually willing to trade Okafor for absolutely nothing, I dont see why they wouldnt at least consider a combination of talent and expiring contracts. It may not be probable, but it is possible.
Besides, even if we have to take on his contract, who cares? He’s a quality big man entering his prime. He defends, he boards, he blocks…he does all the things that this team desperately needs. He’s averaged a double double for his entire career…and he’s a class act on top of it all. I’d much rather have Okafor for 5 years with everything he brings than Jackson for 4 with all his drama
But you’re right, its so far fetched that we shouldnt even try. Lets stick with Mikki Moore instead

“its so far fetched that we shouldnt even try” =/= “It is a little far fetched…”
If they’d take Jack or Maggette, I’d do it in a heartbeat. I was just saying that if they take all our expirings instead, I wouldn’t.
