Don't worry GTTM.
Kazabuike will be back by the time the Warriors make it to the 2010 NBA Playoffs.

can someone please explain to me....
why have we not called up a warm body or two from the d-league? maybe we bring in the best center and best forward in the D-league, have more fouls to throw at LeBron and maybe even find a hidden gem in the process. I know Riley has been busy with sending Jax out but we need bodies!

Because we have 15 players under contract and that’s the maximum the league allows without petitioning for an injury exception. A few players lost for the season might do it. Being unable to field 8 guys in uniform for a game might do it, but simply having a short handed, lousy team for a few weeks? Doesn’t do it. We might be given a single extra player until someone gets healthy. But two? Not gonna happen.

ROD BENSON
I’m dead serious. This guy is EXACTLY what we need right now. We have no bigs (MICKEY is not the answer) and he can crash the boards like no other.
BOOM TO THE WARRIORS

sounds to me like
we meet the criteria then with guys potentially out for the season (not a few weeks). Both Buike and Wright go on injured reserve. Hopefully Riley gets one or two bodies in quick. I like our squad better than many do – I think the combo of guys maturing (now that the cancer is gone) and guys getting healthy and maybe even a trade could lead to a strong post xmas record. Not saying playoffs but the typical low standards of picking in the 7-12 range in the draft. WOOHOO! Go low standards!

first we need to see if the cancer is gone or if the real player is gone and the cancers are still here?

Gotta feel bad for Buike. Looked like he was going to have a great season. As for C.J., I wish him a fast recovery. Dubs all day baby.

This is hilarious!
I remember when it was like this when we traded for Jackson and Harrington. Patrick O’Bryant and a D-Leaguer named Renaldo Major got serious playing time against the Clippers, and functioned as the entirety of the bench. It won’t be as serious as last time, since there is no real doghouse player this time (like Foyle). Still, I look forward to 7 guys going out there and giving it all they’ve got!
And too bad Azubuikes season had to end like that. I wish him the best of recoveries. But, it’s just another bad footnote in this crazy season at this point.

Hi Z. Going to a Thunder game tonight? The Kellena injury might also be an indictment of smallball and it’s forcing players to play out of position and on the ragged edge too much? There’s alway more chance to get hurt when trying to play over one’s head against bigger teams.

Nope
They’re on the road in Florida right now. And yeah, playing small ball does definitely increase the rick of injury for players. Looking at our last few seasons under Don Nelson should definitely tell that story.
