Typical Warriors Drama

Right when we ship out one disgruntled starter, more rumors come up about another disgruntled starter…

WARRIORS BASKETBALL!!! Patiently waiting for a title...I may be waiting for a long time...

get rid of him.

Monta is not a leader, he doesn’t make other players better, and him yelling at others in some attempt to lead is extremely hipocritical, especially after the Clippers game in which he sucked. I’m sure Nellie let him know that he needs to set the example on the court.

+100

Warriors, Stupidest franchise in the league.

I told Randolph that Bill Russell would tell him to keep that ball in play and start the break.

RANDOLPH: "I know. But sometimes, you gotta let ‘em know."

Why does Nellie insist on driving players out?

Not just here but every where he has gone. Monta is not the issue. In fact I don’t blame him at all. He is trying to be a leader and was shut down by Nellie. I just don’t get nellie, or our entire FO .They have no reasoning behind anything they do.

Rookie: "Why did you bench me?"
Nellie: "You're a rookie"

Exactly

First Monta… now Anthony Randolph is unhappy on the bench. Curry is already brewing unhappiness. The only person happy is Mags cause he gets to do what he wants.

I agree Randolph will ask out in a few months....if not sooner

Just a matter of time before Randolph asks out….look at how they are screwing around with his minutes. If everyone asks for a trade and gets their wish, why wouldn’t Randolph ask out? He wants to get consistent playing time and other teams would love to give him the PT he wants….

UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

How are they going to spin this?
Who could we possibly get that will help us right now?

This is getting too ridiculous...

I’m just going to stay on the Thunder bandwagon before it gets too crowded

I don't mind moving Monta.

He is pretty good, but he is not a franchise player. If we could move him in the right deal I would do it. Nelson just needs to go ASAP.

Jagz8, r u serious...

I just wanted to see how much you get paid to make dumb comments or if you just don’t think about what you say… Nelson is the problem now, not Monta, him getting after players after a loss is what a leader is supposed to do in sports. But then when ur coach comes in and tells you to be quite, WTF!!!
Quit trying to spin it… Nelson is the real cancer in the locker room.

no spin.

Monta is NOT a leader. get it through your head. A true leader doesn’t pout multiple times on the court throughout the beginning of the season and then call out his teammates when he himself is playing like trash. his actions make little sense, just like the moped incident. Nelson just knows what everyone is now realizing. He can win with the right parts, at this point they are just trying to get there.

Monta was never playing like crap to begin with.

by Richboievans on Nov 17, 2009 2:38 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

sure he was.

14 pts, 6 TO’s, 6 Ast with a +/- of -29 is awful especially against the Clippers.

OMG

one game decides a career doesn’t it?

Rookie: "Why did you bench me?"
Nellie: "You're a rookie"

it does if your Ryan Leaf.

besides the point….go back and read the conversation. For Monta to go off on everyone else after a game like that is just ridiculous.

Ellis is willing to lead.....

It’s just that he can’t do it if Nellie isn’t allowing him to.
They left the leadership role in Monta’s hands and yet they won’t let him take control of the team and it’s players?
I honestly don’t blame him if he wants to leave. Nellie just needs to get his 21 wins this season and leave.
If Monta’s gone, don’t be surprised if everyone else goes as well…..

by Richboievans on Nov 17, 2009 1:27 PM PST reply actions   0 recs

Even if.....

Even if we trade Monta is traded, we are not guaranteed to get the #1 pick… not because we won’t be the crappiest team, but because our fate will lie in the bounces of those ping pong balls…..

those stinkin’ ping pong balls

thats because the lottery is rigged.

even if the W’s had the worst record ever, Stern would find a way to give the pick to someone else. The NBA would be better off if they did what makes sense and gave the worst the best pick.
