Around SBN: Kobe Bryant Isn't Up To Speed On Jeremy Lin, 'Linning'

Thanksgiving's Daily Dime had 9 ESPN basketball writers write a few lines on what they are thankful for in the young basketball season. Most talked about Kobe, Celtics, Hawks, Nash, parity, and other exciting issues. However 3 of them did happen to drop the Warriors in their basketball thanks:
"We should be thankful that Golden State didn't draft Brandon Jennings because we wouldn't be witnessing one of the finest rookie performances in years. Nellie would probably have him in and out of the lineup, 35 minutes one night, six the next (i.e., Anthony Randolph)."-Chris Boussard
"...the Golden State daily drama,"-Chris Sheridan
"I'm thankful for any time I turn on a Golden State Warriors game and Anthony Randolph is actually playing. He's one of the most unique players in the league, and yet Don Nelson insists on playing him only 21 minutes a game, making Randolph sightings unexpected surprises -- like flipping through TV late at night and catching 'Cheaters.'" - J.A. Adande
Nice to know that if writers can talk about one thing the new NBA season, the joke that are the Warriors are high on their list.

I have stopped listening to these east Coast

biased ESPN talking heads. They know next to nothing and anyone that knows anything can not say much bad about our squads efferts over the last two weeks. The fact that Curry is playing so many minutes refutes their statements on how Jennings would nto get any minutes. The one guy that has a clue is Hollinger who has us ranked number 15 in his most recent power rankings. That puts us in the playoffs as far as he is concerned. LGW!!!!!!!!!!

Beat writers

ESPN are biased by Bucher and TK’s comments about the state of the Warriors. Let’s sneak into the playoffs and hush them.

I’m thankful for any time I turn on a Golden State Warriors game and Anthony Randolph is actually playing. He’s one of the most unique players in the league…

enjoy Adande’s work & wish AR played more (especially in light of AB & Turiaf’s injuries and the fact that Mikki Moore should no longer be in the NBA), but I don’t know about watching AR… I guess it’s fascinating in that car wreck kind of way, but for the most part he’s awkward and head-scratching. Like watching Tyrus Thomas. for me, Morrow is much more enjoyable to watch when he gets into can’t miss mode or Monta’s “finishes” at the rim.

Indeed

I don’t find many areas of AR’s game fascinating. Of course he gets nice dunks from time to time, but that’s about it. He stopped blocking shots too for some reason.

To me the most exciting players on our team are Monta and Morrow.

And there's the "us against the world" mentality

Chris Boussard is a box score watcher who doesn’t know AR was hurt in that 6 min game. J.A. Adande is a surface observer who sees all of AR’s highlights and none of AR’s lowlights, so he blames Nellie for not playing AR.
