Against Clips, big men could play biggest role

(John Shea) Biedrins might not play on Friday with a strained back. Even if he does, he says he won't be 100%. Nellie isn't confident in Randolph handling starting centers, so he'll put him against backup centers for now.

Also, MT's twitter earlier in the day: "Uh oh. Center Andris Biedrins not practicing thanks to an ailing back. Neither is Ronny Turiaf because of his sprained left knee."

If Biedrins and Turiaf are still out tomorrow, that leaves Mikki Moore as our starting center. Our small ball better be clicking to make up for the lack of rebounding and size.

That leaves Randolph at about 6 minutes. Sounds about right.

DeAndre Jordan is going to be a beast

He has a longer reach than even Dwight Howard at 9’5.5". With him, Camby and Kaman as possible centers, they have a better tandem than Beans/Turiaf. The Griffin/Thorton PF spot is thick compared to the Wright/Randolph skinny tandem, once Griffin and Wright are better. If they can limit the production of the big men through double teams, the dubs can use their faster backcourt to outscore them. Classic Nelly action. Hope it works.
