(Marcus Thompson II) The news today is that Moore is scheduled to have surgery for his bone spurs after a checkup yesterday. The bone spurs gave Moore pain whenever he jumped.

Hunter and Randolph should get more minutes now.

Yes!!!!

Now AR will dominate and he won’t get traded! (we can only hope at least)

And today the Warriors are trading Anthony Randolph for...

Kirk Hinrich. Straight up.

because Don Nelson provided the insight that he plays the best defense inside the paint against 50% of the PF-C’s in the NBA.

First team in the NBA to start 5 PG’s in a game. This team is hella hoard.

Yay.

Oh happy day

Best of luck with the surgery MIkki. Make sure to be 100% before you make your return.

Wow. I feel kind of dirty being happy that dude is having surgery, but this is pretty good news. Maybe Biedrins is set to come back sooner rather than later? My Randolph prediction: he still doesn’t get to play more than 20 minutes.

Biedrins: Not according to the article
…Biedrins’ expected six-week recovery from Osteitis Pubis is up next week, but Nellie said at shootaround that Biedrins and Turiaf aren’t any closer…

I'm not happy about this

not when we’re still missing Biedrins and Ronny, not when we’re going up against the spurs.

It is going to be absolutely crucial that AR and Hunter stay out of foul trouble, we don’t need to give Nellie anymore reasons to play Vlad at Center.

For what it’s worth, Smart is the one with the mancrush on Mikey. Nelson seems to genuinely like Hunter’s game.

Mikki would own the Spurs, but bone spurs owned Mikki. :,-(

Godspeed Mikki. Devean George has some big shoes to fill…

There will be no extra point!

This just means more PT for Maggette at the 5. Literally.

for that situation to come true he’d actually have to get real minutes. Today AR was still limited to 25 minutes, a significant chunk of that was garbage time, in 25:08 playing time he got 11 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 3blocks and 1 steal. Radmanovic in 24:40 playing time was 0-8 including 0-4 from the 3 point line, and he had a grand total of 1 point, 1 rebound, 1 assist and 1 steal

I really hate articles like this. For all we know the “Western Conference Executive” is Mark Cuban trying to poison Nellie’s well. Or it could easily be some GM looking to stir the pot so he can steal AR from us.

Maybe so, but you can’t deny AR and his agent don’t sound at all disappointed at the thought of him moving. Also, if he wasn’t on the trading block Riley would say “We are not trading him, those are just rumors” instead of “no comment.”

by Into the Void on Dec 16, 2009 2:33 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

How do you know how they sound? First of all, AR himself isn’t even quoted in the article. So all you are going off is his agent. It is an agent’s job to increase a player’s percieved value. If a player is being mentioned in trade talks that don’t have to do with unloading salary then his value is inherently increasing. Secondly, why would Riley deny that AR is tradeable when that could jeapordize another team inquiring about him and possibly cause the Warriors to miss out on acquiring another player they wanted?

wow, that is so depressing

All he wants is consistent playing time. It doesn’t sound like he really wants to leave, he just wants a place where his playing time isn’t going to get jerked around. Can you even blame him?

These two sentences say it all about Randolph and his playing time: “In five games this season in which he has played 30 or more minutes, Randolph has averaged 18.4 points and 10 rebounds. The Warriors won three of those games, including victories over Portland and Dallas.”

This explains a lot regarding who the coaches wanted to start. Moore playing through pain for this godforsaken team, or Anthony “turnaround fadeaway from 18 because I’m the first option” Randolph.

An empty barrel makes the most noise.

Hmmm… against this Spurs, this isn’t good news for the team. Bad news for Mikke. Well, go AR and Hunter! Also, hurry and get better big men (including Wright).

Now is the time of Chris Hunter

The younger, stronger, and slightly better Mikki Moore. Get well soon, Mikki, and props for playing through something that was probably really painful while all of AN bagged on you every night.

Well

Thanks to Mikki for playing through the pain for so long. He and Raja have shown character in their little time here. So what’s the depth chart now?

Curry/CJ
Monta/Morrow
Maggette/George
Vlad
AR/Hunter

Tonight that’s against

Parker/Hill
Bogans/Ginolbli/Mason/Hairston
Jefferson/Finley
Duncan/Bonner/Blair/
McDyess/Ratliff

OUCH!!!

If Run EMC play good and Maggette doesn’t completely mess things up and hits outside jumpers. I don’t necessarily think we’ll win but i don’t think it’ll be an ouch game.

Please

Play Hunter and Randolph at C/PF. I hate Radman. He’s worse than Jack, way worse!!!

We need big bodies to guard the Spurs big guys. Stop playing stupid small ball all the time, it aint gonna work when the offense is so predictable – i.e. Monta Ellis getting the ball on one side of the court, everyone else on the other side and Monta drives in to either get a charge or blocked at the rim!!

The Time Is Now! Win Warriors Win!

Hope AR gets more playing time now and start proving me wrong about him just becoming a great garbage man.
