This offer is really hard to refuse...

It would be nice getting rid of Maggette’s contract but we have to take on Gortat’s contract.
I believe Gortat has a bigger contract too, correct me if I’m wrong.

Ehh but again the word potential kills us all,it’s hard to give up someone that has this high of a ceiling for two mediocre players.

What’s your opinion? [ Maggette + AR for Bass+Gortat] Mines is no but I want to see what GSOM fans thinks.

No

only cause bass is limited player. A good one but limited. I don’t think Gortat offers anything biedrins doesn’t probably less…..

I;d like to involve Randolph in something a little more. More talent OR more established talent.

Obviously I wouldn't be opposed to trading AR if the right deal came around...

But if he does get traded, I’m gonna really hate watching him develop into a superstar wherever he ends up.

C Webb again

In 3 years he will only be 23! Not even in his prime! Patience is a virtue. He will be a star, like it or not.

It’s not really like the C-Webb thing. Webber won Rookie of the Year his first season and everyone knew that he would be great, Randolph is pure potential.

Pure potential...

…that on it’s own can put up quality lines at the NBA level. While comparing him to Webber may not be accurate, it’s important to remember that even as a “raw” NBA talent at age 20, he’s shown more promise than, say, the oft-maligning comparison to Stromile Swift. Randolph has shown a lot more promise his first two seasons than Swift did, mainly thanks to his rebounding acumen. But when you examine their physiques, play styles, and their early career numbers, it seems like an overly convenient and unfounded comparison to me.

Anthony Randolph is going to be a star !!!

Why would you want to rebuild this team EVERYYYYY SINGLE year. We have an awesome player in Randolph and a great young core to develop and become an elite team, why break that up ???? What we do need immediately….is to break up management, we need a coach that stops playing mind games with Randolph, give him the PT he has earned and stop this small ball non sense once and for all. It never won a championship and it probably never will….I’m a big fan of a Curry/Monta backcourt, I think they’re meshing well together now that Monta has stepped up his defense but we need to make up for the lack of size in the front court, that means Buike at SF, Randolph at PF and Biedrins at C. It’s as simple as that Nellie !!!!

Heck no!

No way they would trade for 2 solid role players at best! Don’t need Gortat, we are getting Biedrins and Ronny back in a week. Bass is like a poor mans Paul Millsap. Randolph will most likely not be traded at all. He will be a star. Everything that comes out of the Warriors camp just gets blown up by the media and turns into a big huge trade rumor. Oh Monta argued with Nelson, what team will he be traded to? Oh Randolph disagreed with Don Nelson, when will he be traded? I mean come on, this is sort of stuff happens all the time in the NBA and trades are not made. Players go through their ups and downs and disagreements with coaches, but that always happens, and they learn to adjust and fix it as players mature. Players always look back at when they were younger and say they were childish and immature early in their careers. Randolph will look back on this in a couple of years and say that he was really young and he let his ego get the best of him. People should not be making a big deal out of this at all. There have been so many rumors about trades involving the Warriors that have never happened. Besides the Jackson trade, I can’t recall a rumor that involved the Warriors that actually came true in recent memory.

In my opinion....

If these AR trade rumors are actually true it will be the DUMBEST trade ever no matter who we get.

If we somehow magically get LEBRON, DWADE, CHRIS BOSH, SUPERSTAR or QUALITY PLAYER with an expiring contract especially, that player WILL NOT stay or resign here. So what’s the point? 3 months of satisfaction? Yay.

Who the hell would want to stay with an organization that is dysfunctional as Golden State with no direction whatsoever?

I would bounce out of here the second I get the chance to. You can’t really blame any player that has played for the Warriors and left.

I would rather try to keep AR happy and be patient with him.

Our only hope is AR demanding to stay as a Warrior because he loves playing here, loves playing with Morrow and Steph Curry, appreciates the Warrior fans, and envisions a really great future 5 years from now playing for the Warriors when Cohan sells and Don Nelson is gone.
