Around SBN: SB Nation interviews Jerome Bettis

It's a day off, so it's pretty quiet on the news front.
Monte Poole: Antawn Jamison, Gilbert Arena familiar with Warriors' revolving door
Marcus Thompson II: Play Anthony Randolph or sit him? Depends on who you ask

FYI: Warriors lost Gilbert Arenas in the summer of '03 because of a salary cap rule. See Gilbert Arenas provision.

Where did Anthony Morrow spend his Saturday evening after eating at Gussie's Chicken and Waffles? Here.

When he talks about who you ask and it says the FO thinks he’s too inconsistent with his play and work ethic while his camp thinks there inconsistent with there goals and he’s an easy scapegoat. Who do you believe? I’ll give you a hint, don’t believe the FO.

Rookie: "Why did you bench me?"
Nellie: "You're a rookie"

“If you look at any player in the NBA,” said Bill Duffy, Randolph’s agent, “I think it’s safe to say, the more latitude that they’re given, the more productive they’ll be. More often than not, a young player needs instruction and direction and latitude.”

Well, I’m not going to believe a guy who conflates causation with correlation…

This paragraph stood out to me the most
The reason, according to Warriors insiders, is Randolph’s supremely inconsistent play. Some have said he let his success in summer league, and the invitation to the Team USA training camp, get to his head and curb his work ethic. He still has trouble remembering plays and where he needs to be, they say, which disrupts everything.

Especially the last sentence, because we’ve seen that happen a couple of times, drawing the ire of Monta Ellis. I would not be surprised if it happened more than we know, since we don’t know what the plays are.

Oops, I wasn't done yet

And I think that’s one reason why Nellie/Smart started Moore over Randolph, back Moore vs Randolph was a topic, because Moore remembers what he’s supposed to do.
