Around SBN: Jeremy Lin And How The Pac-12 Missed Him

It's not like they’re conceding their next two games – at Memphis and New Orleans – but you do get the sense the Warriors are looking ahead a little bit.

Can you blame them?

January should be a more fun month to watch the Warriors

We’ll have Biedrins and Turiaf back plus that 7-game 2 week long home stretch to see what kind of team we have. Plus more local writers on the scene means more stuff to read and more videos to watch. Oh wait…

Yeah

January will probably be the most fun month of the season, but isn’t Raja Bell supose to come back before the end of the season. That would be another valuable pieace to have on the team

Not unless he commits to resigning to the Warriors next season

He’s a free agent next summer. If he returns and can play a few games, he’ll be valuable as a teacher and a guide to the young kids, but that would be about it.

I have not read any news about Wright

The last word was February, but that might have been based on older, “best case” recovery estimates, like when they estimated 4-6 months back in October. I haven’t read any news on a more recent estimate of recovery, no estimates on returning to practice, getting cleared to do exercises, things like that.

That 6-8 weeks was how long his shoulder would be immobilized. The full recovery takes 6-7 months. Unless he decides to rush it for some stupid reason, he’s out for the year.
