Warriors Weekly Radio show from last week, Thurs Dec 17, 2009
- Took me a while to figure out how to link to the audio files. This is Don Nelson taking questions directly from the callers. This show happened after last week's home loss to the Spurs, before the home loss to the Wizards. There will be no radio show this week, as it will be Christmas Eve.

Warriors Weekly
Anthony Randolph, part 2, talks about basketball stuff.
My Notebook
- (Last week) Nellie had been focusing on getting Morrow to move without the ball, not be a stationary player.- (Last week) Randolph was raw, never been coached, "fought" with Nellie on how to play early on last season, thought he knew everything, shoot every time, cost him minutes.
- Nellie would like to play Hunter as a 3rd center when Biedrins/Turiaf returns.
- Monta's improved defense means Nellie not afraid to go with Monta/Curry backcourt when the bigs return.
- Warriors have to wait until Moore misses his 4th game before applying for another hardship exception. Moore's 4th missed game will be @Hornets tomorrow.
- One guy Warriors like is Cartier Martin, who went to play overseas, but returned to the D League this month.
- The Warriors are the 1st team since the 2002 Nets to shoot 80%+ in the 1st qtr.
What's next?
- Second game of a back to back @Hornets tomorrow, then Christmas Eve off for the whole NBA, Christmas Day off (or practice), then vs Suns on Saturday.
- Matt Steinmetz will hold another online chat tomorrow (Wed, 23rd) at noon on his chat page.

All Stephen Curry
His shooting wasn’t that great, but his ball movement and his rebounding were good. He did a lot of things that didn’t show up on the boxscore. He saved an alley oop dunk by contesting the pass, sprint backcourt to save the easy layup, etc… He did a lot this game that we don’t normally see. Hunter played well too, he got the minutes, pretty good for a D-League player. His rebounding still needs help, but he just cam from the D-League, so he’ll improve. But hands down to Stephen Curry being the player on the Warriors that did the best.
I can't disagree with Curry at all
but I also think that Maggette played a really good game for the most part. In the first half he was very efficient and effective because he was finally able to play his normal position at small forward. He wasn’t as good in the second half because he had to play power forward and guard Zach Randolph. Once we get big bodies back, he’ll be able to play his game at the 3, and should be a lot more effective.
Maggette
Though I cringed watching him clank those jumpers in the 4th. Having no conscious is good sometimes, but not down the stretch when we really need buckets.
