Steinmetz: Has Gilbert Arenas Lost A Step? You Tell Me
This is a little bit dated, but I’d love to get some feedback. It has to do with last Saturday night, when Gilbert Arenas laid 45 on the Warriors in the Wizards’ victory at Oracle Arena.
As former Warriors GM Garry St. Jean and I watched the game, we talked about how even though Arenas was putting on a show he still didn’t resemble the player he was from a few years ago – before his three knee surgeries.

Definitly without a doubt
He has lost maybe 2 steps. He got to the rim on his expereince and talent but not his wheels. He looked average at best speed wise. He is very talented with the ball and that alone will allow him to excel. But fast? Not anymore.
