The way Boston gets calls, Monta will have 6 charges in the first 4 minutes. I expect Curry to do alright against Rondo if he can stay out of foul trouble.

KG not exactly in blisstering form and a pretty rough loss last night…. I believe we have one option tonight and that is to RUN RUN RUN and RUN some more….
We need to go at these guys with fastbreak after fastbreak after fastbreak….. By the end of the first half..the Celts should be feeling….
“holy crap….what was that…..ahhh well lets just write off this as a bad road trip”….then the dubs wrap up the game…
However, if we allow Rondo free range in the paint and allow them to slow the play down as they will be tired… we will still struggle in my opinion…

I was at oracle a couple games back and he was drainning them during warmups and halftime, but once play started he was off again. I guess it must be a mental thing or defenses are making adjustments (although it seems like a lot of open, uncontested 3’s are missing also) hope this “slump” ends soon!

If you go to the Celtic Blog and read their game write up. They seem to like our team more then we do. Reading the stats and Bostons record on back to backs and their record against fast paced teams it sounds like we should be 7 point favorites in this game. They do not match up. We shall see.

T-Mac's only value is an an expiring contract...
…and the biggest expiring contract in all the land. That guy is of no use to the Warriors (who already have turnover-prone ball-hungry players, only they’re better than T-Mac) unless he helps us unload a ridiculous contract.
The only one I could think of would be Maggette’s contract but I actually would rather keep Mags than get T-Mac. That one’s debatable, though, depending on what you think the W’s could do with that money long-term.

I don’t think maggette is worth his 50 or 60 million(whichever one it is) so I think by all means necessary we should try and dump his contract. Especially if it could help us land a superstar in the off season via free agency

he’s a 50% shooter, lock down defender, his assist ot turn over is over 3 to 1. and he rebounds better than every point guard sans kidd

Ellis can actually hit a jump shot. Rondo can dribble all day, but it’s different playing with those guys compared to the guys that Ellis plays with.

His defense alone is invaluable…
The issue to me is that Monta is the better fit for this particularly poorly constructed team…
If we were to hypothetically make that trade, I’d want an elite scorer to put next to Rondo as well…

@ tafkasam, re your earlier Big Baby / Blair comparison: other than being shortish and fattish they’re really nothing alike. Blair is one of the 4 or 5 best rebounders to come out of the draft in the past 20 years, where Davis isn’t even an average rebounder (indeed, isn’t even an average player, despite his cute nickname, charismatic personality and flair for the occasional big shot).

His +/- was fantastic, too. Still, Monta was the workhorse of the team. Without him, where would we have been?

I suppose but I feel like if we kept getting beat down before the half
Monta might have lost his cool and started missing shots. But that’s just an assumption that can never be proven.

If (or likely when) Monta has an off game tomorrow against the Lakers, remember that he played 48 minutes of a very close game and had to carry the team on his back.
But if he has a good game tomorrow and keeps the Warriors in any way close…then get this man on the All Star team.

Also Anthony Randolph in the third quarter deserves a mention
He was 2-8 heading into the quarter and went 5-7 during the third period. Including a great steal and an even more impressive dunk.
He deserved to stay in at the end of the 3rd Q

needs to start the mvp chant for monta everytime hes on the line. no seriously. i still think tho he’s not as fast as he once was and he doesnt dunk or go high for alley oops because he doesnt wanna push off his ankle too much. hes pretty fast still. like i said, lets start that chant. haha

If Warriors reach the finals against the Celtics there is a big chance that we could win the championship. But the problem is how can Warriors make it to the finals? Is it to much to ask for
