I like this deal for Miami

it takes them out of the Boozer chase, but O’Neal has been playing well lately and Moon gives them another good defender. Their D should be very very good with at least 4 above average defenders in their starting lineup. It does put more pressure on Beasley to start producing more on offense, but I think he should do better with O’Neal at the 5. Its an ok deal for Toronto too, a Marion-Bosh-Bargs is a very interesting frontline that causes matchup difficulties. They have a 5 with more of a 3 skill set, and a 3 with more of a 4 skillset. I just dont know why this deal wasnt done earlier.

Miami was out of the Boozer chase to begin with.

They are clearing cap space for Wade et al and signing Boozer to a big fat deal was never on the radar.

naw

they had the cap room to sign Boozer to a big deal and still retain Wade if they had wanted to.

Marion wouldve been 17 mil off the books, Boozer likely wouldnt have commanded that much.
