Around SBN: Auto Racer Jeffrey Earnhardt Excited to Make MMA Debut

With Biedrins coming back, and Marco and Brandan..wheres all the playing time going to go?

As you can already see, nellie, however deep the bench is will rid the starters for at least 35 minutes, if not 48. Marco and Ronnie and CJ are proven to be talented enough to get a good 20 mintues a game Randolph and Morrow and Wright i think are also good for 20 but people can argue that, but maby no with Randolphs recent play. Do you think were going to need to make a move to make room for minutes? id trade jamal crawford and start Belinelli at the 1

My rotation would be:

Player-MPG
PG: Monta-32; Crawford/Marco-16
SG: Crawford-28; Marco-20
SF: Jackson-40; Azubuike-8
PF: Azubuike-10; Maggette-30; Randolph/Wright-8
C: Biedrins-28; Turiaf-20

We are too deep! I wish we could play Watson and Morrow too!

ugh

Jackson should not play 40!

Plus if we are talking this season, I think monta should play sg rather than pg until he gets back into shape. CJ would then backup the pg position – morrow then needs to find some minutes.

id rather have

monta play 2 and crawford play 1

Me too

Get rid of Crawford and start belli. He gives us more D… just a tougher player in general

You’ve got Crawford playing 36 mins and Jackson playing 40. Give them a break. Let them be fresh. This season is about finding out how guys play together. Monta is still recovering and doesn’t need as many minutes as he’ll get next year. And not everyone is going to be here next year. For now, how about:

PG/SG: Monta 30, Crawford 18, Marco 18, Morrow 18, CJ 12
SF: Jack 30, Maggette 8, Azubuike 10
PF: Maggette 18, Azubuike 8, Randolph/Wright 12
C: Biedrins – 28, Turiaf 20

Not enough minutes to go around in a normal environment. But we aren’t playing for anything other than development. So, let’s distribute minutes accordingly. The good feeling we’ve got from winning IS part of that development. Showcasing our players for moves is, as well. But I really don’t need Monta to develop tendonitis from pushing his healing leg too hard now while things are still healing. I trust he will be 100% next year. Hold him back. Jack, too. He never wants to sit but we know what he can do. Save some of his aging joints for the remainder of his contract. Same for Maggette. He is clicking now. We see how he can work for us. Don’t over play him. If we still have him next year, I want him healthy going into the playoffs.

I want to know how Belinelli plays next to Monta. I want to see if Morrow continues to develop. Same with Randolph and Wright. CJ should get minutes too. Next year, some of these guys are bound to be gone and we need to know what we keep, what we trade, and what we let go.

Once in a while you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

firstly, jack and crawf should play less than 40 a piece?
will they under nellie? make an assumption. will jack ever, injuries aside, for any game, dip below 35 minutes? under nellie, i doubt that
secondly, the fact that you have randolph and wright splitting only twelve minutes behind maggette at the power forward (maggs at the four in the first place is laughable) just shows how poorly-conceived this roster is in the first place

if we’re playing for development then why, in your estimation, does randolph and wright get only one quarter between the two of them?

this team’s roster is a joke
and won’t ever be better than a team that loses the globetrotters as long as nellie is crafting the depth chart

marco will take over for cj's minutes, or split minutes with cj

andris and ronnie will go back to switching off. and bwright and randolph will compete for 9th man minutes.

Yes, make trades!!

There are not nearly enough minutes to go around!! It’s ridiculous to have Crawford when Monta is getting back to 100% (unless we can trade Monta for an all-star). Furthermore, getting Wright minutes with Turiaf and Randolph playing so well seems problematic to me. With that, having both Randolph and Wright is pretty redundant, and it will be very hard to get them both minutes. Trade Wright or Randolph, when we get the right offer. With Crawford and Wright gone, Belli and Monta can play more at PG and Biedrins can come back while Turiaf plays more PF. On a final note, we might want to make sure we will be keeping Randolph before we trade Wright. I wonder how Randolph and his agent are seeing things right now…

+1
marco should start at the PG, i really think if you give him time hes the perfect back court partner, can throw the outlet pass, good playmaker, bigger and better D (watch some of his games before injury)

J-Rich and Matt Barnes will always be missed
