So I thought I'd open up the discussion to prospective draft choices the Warriors may end up with. Not too early to spitball, right? As it stands today, the Dubs have a slim/ outside chance at the number 8 seed, and have about an equally slim chance at Blake Griffin (@ what seems like the number one overall pick). My guess, they'll end up somewhere in the mid to low lottery (#8-12). Forgive me if I offend those of you who believe the Dubs will make the playoff @ this point in the season.
So 1) what position(s) are we striving for? Obvious choices being PG and PF and beyond that 2) does anyone have anybody in mind?
As for PGs I been taking a liking to Sherron Collins of Kansas- he's shown he can produce in crunch time as from last year's final four performance. I personally think Tyler Hansborough will make a good pro @ PF- great hustle, can shoot from outside and gets to the line. Outside of those two positions, I also like James Hardin from ASU. I think Hasheem Thabeet along with Blake Griffin will be gone by the time the W's draft- but who knows- weigh in.
