Around SBN: 2011 In Extreme Home Runs

I like this....it shows some real sportsmanship on the part of the Lakers. And proof that our belief that we'll be dangerous in the coming years isn't just a pipe dream.

Didn't expect

Kobe giving props to Monta.

Randolph can’t shoot 3’s. Odom is full of it.

AR

Maybe he can develop a three? Who knows? I rather he worked on his jump shot more – he is often free from mid range.

Only problem with this is RAndolph or his people can get a hold of that article and let it go straight to his head.

His uncle probably has it framed already.

Even more praise for Randolph came from Nelson: “I hope he continues doing what he’s doing to stay out on the floor. In practice, he’s staying out of trouble and doing what he does best, and when he does that, we’re going to play him more and more.”

Is anybody else not even remotely surprised by this statement? This is exactly what I want to hear: That Randolph is working his way into the team, practicing hard, and earning his PT both in practice and in the game. I really liked what I saw in the first quarter (sick as a dog, can’t stay up that late on the east coast).
