Around SBN: Upon Further Review: Bo Knows Longreads

i dont know rotoworld so i dont know if you can trust it, but apparently management is telling nellie to play AR! they finally grew a pair.

im happy with the news

oh and heres a real positive transcrpt with jackson about randolph from

http://blogs.mercurynews.com/kawakami/2009/02/18/lakers-129-warriors-121-hello-anthony-randolph/

-Q: Randolph gave a lot of energy right out of the chute. What does that tell you about him?

-JACKSON: That the kid’s ready to play. He’s been working, he’s been dealing with a lot of ups and downs. I think the good thing is he’s had some frustrating days, some good days, some bad days, but he’s making progress. And that’s all you can ask from a 19-year-old at this point.

I’m definitely happy with his energy and his play and hopefully he continues to help us out and get better.

-Q: Fun to watch him go against a pretty similar athlete in Odom?

-JACKSON: Yeah, Odom just has more experienced, his body has filled out a little more, he’s been in the league a little longer. But definitely a similar game. I think hopefully he can learn from playing against a guy like that. I’m definitely a fan of Randolph.

-Q: Do you like to see Randolph go at guys?

-JACKSON: I love his passion. I love his fire for the game. That’s something you can’t teach. That’s rare. I wish a lot of guys on this team had that. That’s something he needs to keep, because that’s the kind of edge I have that got me over and got me better than some guys–my passion.

-Q: How hard is it to focus that?

-JACKSON: I think that’s something he’s going to have to learn, like I had to learn. It’s a fine line between having too passion and hurting your team and having passion to help your team. I think just like me, as he starts playing and getting more experience, he’s going to have to learn the fine line between that.

did you watch the game last night. you don't get t's if you don't care

if you watched the game last night and you think this team has no passion, then you are an idiot..

so

you think jackson is a idiot?
actually don’t answer that. only a idiot argues with ref as much as stephen jackson does.

but point is jackson said he wishes “a lot of guys on this team had that[fire for the game]”

which implies that jackson thinks our team doesnt have fire or passion.

Jack's got a point

Our 12 guys play hard, play well, and have a positive effect on the game, but not all of them express that fiery emotion, attitude, swagger, toughness, and fight in their game. The players that are fiery are Jack, Turiaf, and Randolph. Marco’s shows swagger, but not as fiercely. But most everyone else generally plays quietly. Buike, CJ, Biedrins, Maggette, Monta, Morrow, BWright, Crawford.

So a lot of people on team don’t have a passion for the game? Maybe they should get more T’s…
