Would you take Baron back if he was half off in a Summer blow out sale?

I like it
Still long contract, but it would be quite interesting.
They better take him back. I don’t know why some are making Baron out to be a bad guy. He was screwed by Rowell. Any of us would have done the same thing and jumped ship if we were stabbed in the back. He just went to a team that doesn’t match his style. He definitely fits in with the Warriors and we should take him back now, even with his fat contract. We’re screwed financially anyways for the next few years, so lets at least be good for those years.
are there rumors
of a baron buy out?? that’d be sick, crawford opts out, baron boom, sick
That was a stupid article...
There was no realistic scenario to that at all! Given that, I would still have liked to see Baron back in the #5 Warriors uniform. Just reading the comment about the 3 year, $39 mill contract that Mullin had worked out really makes me realize exactly how incompetent and stupid Rowell and Cohan are. It was a perfect extension for both parties, and a cheap, igonorant bastard butted in and runied it all…and then overpaid Maggette. Sure, Maggette is performing better as a Warrior, but lets face it….he’s not the leader Baron was…it just isnt the same. Even the comment about Baron tanking due to a large contract I think is wrong …the guy tanked because he hated his coaches and the way he had to play. Hell, he tanked with Montgomery. It doesnt make sense that he would intentionally tank in his home town when he’s trying to play hero and show his stuff. Who knows, the way they ended the 07-08 season he may have given up on Nellie, but with only a 3 year extension and the only resemblance of happiness and content the NBA has seen out of Baron, wasnt it worth a shot, especially given how much we needed his talent and leadership? It would have been great to see some type of trade that would have brought Baron and Camby to the bay….I wonder if that was ever considered…probably not, we’re talking about Rowell and Cohan actually making a competent move.
you can bitch all you like but not signing BD was the smartest move ever and his opting out
was a gift from Baron.
And you can justify that all you want
based on the way he’s playing with the clippers, but we all know what BD did for this team under the current coach and what he’s capable of when playing for a team like the dubs. We all know that this was the only team he was happy with, we all know that Maggette is getting paid almost $10 Mill a year to be a role player, and we all know that Cohan and Rowell have proven to be far from competent. And if that “gift” from baron is the 19-36 record and the bloated contracts of Maggette and Crawford that we ultimately decided to take on because Rowell rejected the extension, then slap a bow on it and open it up this summer when we’ve ended the season as the 10th seed in the west with a #13 pick in the draft.
DID. that is a key word
Jamal Magloire WAS an all-star once upon a time. Baron davis NOW is fat(slow), injury prone, can’t play a lick od D and is shooting 35 % from the field and 28% from 3 pt. line.
nice try
but pointing out what he’s doing this year doesnt justify not signing him to the extension that Mullin worked out. If you cant see that Mike Dunleavy Jr. is a control freak that doesnt know how to coach the Beard, then let me be the first to welcome you to NBA basketball and let you know that you have some things to learn. Pointing out BD’s stats this year, on a completely different team with a completely differentn coach and style really doesnt prove anything, especially when the warriors team with him vs the team without him is clearly superior. Good try though
its would be nice
if we got brandon jennings baron can really teach him
