Develop Randolph into a center

i know it sounds crazy but he plays his best as a center. nelson's system needs a fast, good rebounding, mediocre outside shot center. he needs to add 25 pounds this offseason but i think i would rather have him at center down the line.

NO

we have 2 excellent centers…randolph is also much more suited for the 3 or 4, probably the 4 to begin with…

Nellie said that sjax is one of the few choices at the 3

So I think having AR play 3 would be interesting. Personally I would have buike play the 3 and AR/BW backup the 4.

However, we do need another 4/5 player I think (hendrix perhaps after we waive mwill?) because the idea of turiaf/beans playing together is quite attractive – would fix our main problem (rebounding). Ronny can shoot the mid range shot as well.

If we had a real point guard then Maggette could play the three like he should be.

Jackson is very effective as an over sized two. As long as there is someone else to handle the ball.

Lets hope

marco gets extensive burn time with monta out and see if he will work out. Not sure we can get anything better in free agency.

Developing Randolph into a power forward makes more sense because we don’t need a center since we have Biedrins already.
