Matt Barnes chooses Warriors Fans>Phoenix Fans

"It’s tough to say as stand here in Phoenix that another crowd is the best crowd in the NBA, but Golden State definitely has the best fans in the NBA. They are just into the game the whole time. They really rallied us a couple of times for some wins with just their enthusiasm and never-quit mentality."

i will argue this to the death

Arizona has the worst sports fans in the nation. I’ve been to countless games in phoenix, and they get the loudest when the gorilla and his buddies throw shirts out to the crowd. Its ridiculous. And when there is a god play, they cheer for about 5 seconds “loudly” and then quiet back down. I mean, comparing them to the Warriors fans is pretty stupid, cause we are so much better, but come on Phoenix. Its embarrassing…

that blog was madd deep ...

Being a UCLA FAN, it was good gettin’ to scope B.Diddy and Matt Barnes rockin’ a Warriors uni. Matt Barnes always brought that heat for us on that Brian Cardinal / Turiaf tip.

+1

it sure takes a lot of courage to write something like that for suns fans

Letting Barnes go was a mistake

I still don’t understand why the W’s let Barnes go. He could get hot from the 3point line, but mostly he could defend and REBOUND.

I concede he was committing a lot of flagrants this last season – but the warriors could use another enforcer besides Turiaf. Barnes could actually play the 4 when needed and it wasn’t such a stretch, compared to us putting Buike at the 4 (c’mon nellie, i’m a fan of yours but that’s crazy talk!)

With the state the Suns are in, I’m sure we could Barnes back for a song. Marcus Williams and a 2nd rounder would probably do it.

I'd rather not

I was a Barnes fan but we have enough players that do what he does. Buike’s becoming a better defender and is a good rebounder / 3 shooter. I’ll take him anyday over barnes

he stopped getting hot

after we believe. his play really fell off in 08, thus the reason why we let him go, on top of what drizzt said. maybe he was not motivated by his contract?

Matt Barnes is right

I might be a little bias when I say,“The Warriors have the best fans in the NBA” but, its the truth.

I beg to differ...

But then again, I KNOW I am biased. :)

Oh yea...

Should be a good game tonight…don’t go scoring 144 on us now…that wouldn’t be too polite you being the hosts and all.
