Jameer's Skills Challenge Replacement
Many of you have probably heard about Orlando's All-Star point guard Jameer Nelson was injured and will not play in the All Star game. He was replaced by Ray Allen.
Nelson was also scheduled to perform against Derrick Rose, Tony Parker, and Devin Harris in the skills challenge but now must be replaced. My question is: who should replace him? Are there any players from the Dubs you would like to see in the skills challenge? For those who don't know how the skills challenge works, read this: Skills Challenge
Personally think Jamal Crawford could be good, he's got some handles and can shoot very well, but probably wouldn't be able to run the course as fast as any of those three point guards. Ellis could prove he still has the speed and explosiveness that made him my favorite Warrior last year but probably isn't ready since he just came back from injury. What about C.J.? Or Bellinelli (if he was healthy)?

this is a joke, right?
who the hell cares about the skills challenge!? i don’t know a single person that thinks the skills challenge is anything but a cop-out marketing ploy. nobody enjoys watching people pull up for jumpers undefended but lame girls and stodgy old people.
shawn marion's jumper makes me want to crap a book on how to puke.

well when you're the warriors
any representation on all star weekend would be nice. so given that morrow is not gonna be in the 3pt shootout, i care.

One could argue
That the whole All-Star concept is a whole cop-out marketing ploy.

NO OFFENSE
But this is a dumb post. First of all, who cares about the rookie challenge, and second of all, there is no chance that a Warrior gets picked.

i meant skills challenge* not rookie challenge

KURZ!!!!!!
Nelly has wet dreams about starting Monta at center.
by StSaints408 on Feb 5, 2009 8:48 PM PST reply actions 0 recs
if the Warriors were to hold a skills challenge
Monta would not advance the shooting part.
CJ would not know where to pass the ball even though there’s only one hole staring right in front of him.
Jamal Crawford would be disqualified for pulling up for a J before finishing the passing course.
SJax could have won except he lost his dribble in the end and instead of running to get it, he complains that he got fouled in the process.
Marcus Williams would tear the course down, except Nellie wouldn’t let him participate.

Steve Nash
One of the greatest players in the game, and he’s not in the all-star game for the first time in forever, when it finally comes to PHX. he should get to play somewhere.

haha
I vote S Jax aka other because it would be funny how he would not pass into the hole and just stand there with his back to the basket and everyone would be like wtf is he doing?! than he shoots a jumper.
So I don't have a signature well these words would do! Who knew that upgrades can have downgrades too!

CJ...LOL
I have a feeling that at some point on his way to the hoop he would get his lay up or shot THROWN into the 3rd row considering he can’t finish on a drive…

I guess...
if i had to choose a Warrior to make it for the skills challenge it would definitely be Jamal Crawford or last season’s Monta Ellis. Jamal got all those skills down but he’s not as fast as any of those guys. The old Monta could probably blow everyone out of the water in this contest. New Monta, hell no!
If I had to choose someone from around the league, I would choose Mo Williams, Derron Williams or even Rajon Rondo (His only downfall would probably be the shooting part).
I think it’s gonna come down to Chris Paul and Derrick Rose to actually win this thing.

Randolph would be a great choice is you have to pick a warrior
It would be a lot of fun to see guys like AR and Lamar Odom doing this challenge against the little guys. It would certainly make a rather boring event a little interesting.
They should also light the whole course on fire

How amazing would it be to have Mark Madsen and or Jarron collins in there. At least for some greatly needed comedic relief.
