The Most Realistic Blockbuster Trade
The warriors are looking to shed some perimeter players for one impact post player. Maggette has been mentioned as a serious option for the Mavs. The Mavs need a reliable 2nd/3rd option behind Dirk and Terry
Obviously there are rumors involving Amar'e in trades. The suns look like they are in rebuilding and removing all the d'antoni faithful besides Nash. Barbosa has looked lost this season as he has no real role as he is neither the backup point guard or sixth man. His style for the suns is not working and the suns are looking for young big men and defensive minded big man. Camby would be that player and the warriors have Wright and Randolph. You can see where i am going here.
Warriors give: Randolph, Wright, CJ, Maggette Receive: Amare
Clippers give Camby, Boom Dizzle, Skinner Receive: Kidd, Barbosa
Suns Give : Amare, Barbosa Receive: Randolph, Camby, Wright, Skinners expiring contract to help the books work
Mavs give: Kidd Receive: Maggette, Baron, Cj
I Honestly think this is realistic because these trades have been reported and make alot of sense as all these teams are reshaping their future or have a sense of urgency. Comment and Rec if you like these ideas but more importantly how realistic this is.

Stoudemire
I don’t want him if it means giving up Randolph and Wright. Maybe I’m in the minority on this one, but I wouldn’t do it and I don’t have to worry about it since it won’t happen.

I have been watching him play
and he desperately needs a second wind for his career. He’s at a very delicate point in his career, but I don’t think the bay is what HE needs.

yea you should bein the minority on that one. neither of those guys will be nearly as good as Amare.

There is an oxymoron in your title
“Realistic Blockbluster Trade”
by Nuck Chorris on Feb 5, 2009 6:40 PM PST reply actions 0 recs
So ... "the most realistic blockbuster trade"
Involves
1. Four teams — from the same conference, no less;
2. Ten players;
3. The Clips and Suns getting hosed; and
4. The Warriors ending up with the most valuable player (by far) in the deal?
Sounds good to me. :-P

sorry but
this is absolutely not a realistic trade….
why are we posting so many ridiculous trade machine proposals???
“trade 8 players from this team for 5 players from this team for 6 players on this team for 9 players on this team….”

Damn Right
I just traded Mo Williams, Ben Wallace and my 1st rounder for JCraw and Biedrins and no one ever bashed me for it.
My team’s now stacked…
PG: JCraw
SG: JRich
SF: Bron
PF: Biedrins
C: Big Z
Bench:
Boobie Gibson
Fernandez
Morrow

That was the dumbest trade I’ve ever seen. You’ve killed the team!
Okay, there, someone has bashed you for it.

WTF? Can we put a breathalyzer on the trade machine?
and no one under 21 allowed near it?
Now wheres the rubbers? Whose got the rubbers?
I noticed there's so many of them
and there's really not that many of us.

baron
a maverick after that playoff whooping?? haha that would be ironic. I don’t see Cuban takin on both maggs and baron’s contract but then again he is mark cuban. this is a dream trade…….bwright and randolph both gone?? a lot of people don’t like that but for amare I would
by FeartheBeard4 on Feb 5, 2009 8:26 PM PST reply actions 0 recs
yea we
dont need bwright and randolph if we get amare.
by saintdee on Feb 5, 2009 8:37 PM PST up reply actions 0 recs
ya except amare is a free agent in 2010 and unless the warriors win a championship between now and then he’ll be gone. trade away guys who could be our future for a one and a half year rental…awesome.

The only way Cuban trades with Golden State
is if Stephen Jackson is involved. And my guess is that you guys wouldn’t take Howard and Bass for him.
I have witnessed time and time again.

you actually like this deal?

Jackson for Howard and Bass? I dont love it, but if the Mavs threw in a pick I’d be all for it. The dubs gotta get rid of some of these swingmen/contracts. Jackson is obviously the one of the three (Craw, Maggs, Jack) I’d least want to part with but he’s probably the only really tradeable one. Nellie really like Howard and even if he doesnt work out they dubs could gain some flexibility if Howard left and Crawford opted out.

I have seen "dubs" on here a lot,
is that a nickname for your team?
FYI, we got no picks to trade, we gave 2 firsts to Jersey in the Kidd deal and we gave 2 seconds to Indiana for Shawn Williams.
What if we gave you Green as well and you gave us Marcus Williams?
I have witnessed time and time again.
by srdmad on Feb 7, 2009 8:01 PM PST up reply actions 0 recs
I’d probably do it but I think its very unlikely warriors management would be willing to deal Jackson. Yea dubs is a nickname as in W’s. Green’s contract expires and he’s probably want to stay or return to Texas so I dont see him having much value to the Warriors. Any chance the Mavs would take on Maggette too in exchange for Stack’s shorter contract? I’d definitely do Jackson/Maggette/Williams for Stackhouse/Howard/Bass

No chance on Maggette,
they need money for 2010. I think they would trade for Jackson, because he’s not really making that much money for a guy of his talents, even though his contract runs through 2010.
I have witnessed time and time again.

I voted no
Baron would never be down with the fact that he has to wear a mavs jersey! at least i hope not.

exactly what saintdee said
he’s an LA boy…you know his heart is still out here in the Bay though. I guess I wouldn’t rule out the thought of him considering playing for the mavs. He’d just need some of that Mark Cuban money to be thrown at him and that would help him come to a decision a lot easier.

this trade is beatiful!
Especially I like how u have B. Skinner coming back to Phoenix, that is plain awesome. I think thats why they will do it. They just got rid of him, but “Bring Skinner Back” movement in Phx is going too strong for S. Kerr to resist. Lets do this trade, where do I sign?
by farid on Feb 6, 2009 1:18 AM PST reply actions 0 recs
Makes sense...
but totally unrealistic and for me it is either AR or Wright not both. Good try though and I am sure ESPn will get a hold of this trade and put it out there as a rumor…lol

Give up Wright, CJ, AR, and Maggette Spaghetti for Amare?
ehhhh…….not too sure about this one
by jimmycaps on Feb 6, 2009 9:06 AM PST reply actions 0 recs
Amare ain't all that
Having watched Amare a few games here and there – I’m just not impressed with his Basketball IQ. He’s 7ft and only 8 rebounds and 2 assists per game. So where is his strength besides scoring? We need 4 that’s a rebounding vacuum cleaner.
We need a modern day Horace Grant.
BTW, the only teams really getting anything are the Clips and Mavs in your trade.
And, if you look at the past 10 games Maggs has been back, he’s been pretty good for the W’s. I’m not looking to trade him.
How many times (with BDiddy and Monta) did we get shut down in the 4th? Jumper not falling, no line trips…Maggs fixes that.
I’m becoming a Maggette fan…slowly….but starting to like what i’m seeing.
We need to use Monta or Jamal + AR or BW to get a 10rpg, good defender.
I’d trade for David Lee or Millsap
by joegiant on Feb 6, 2009 11:11 AM PST reply actions 0 recs
I didnt know 7 footers were supposed to rack up the assists
But I do agree with you, I would love to see the Warriors go after Paul Milsap because you know David Stern wont let the Warriors win the lottery that he fixes, because he hates us, so that means no Blake Griffin.

Amare is just disgruntled...
He aint a genious with the ball like CP3 or Nash or anything but he knows where his bread and butter lies. Inside the paint, pick and rolls, tip in dunks and a very nice mid range shot. He’s also pretty accurate at the free throw line. Trust me, if he were ever to come to the Bay, you and the rest of the Warriors fan base would love it! Guaranteed!
