OPEN THREAD: Warriors vs. Jazz - Repeat?

Utah Jazz at Golden State Warriors, Mar 1, 2009 6:00 PM PST

I smell trouble coming...

Warriors: 20-38
Jazz: 36-23
Tip-Off: 6:00 PM PST
TV: CSN
Radio: KNBR 680

Want to take a guess when the last team the Utah Jazz lost?

That's right.  At the Roarcle.  That was quite some time ago.

Granted they were missing some players.  But here's the way I look at it.

Carlos_boozer12_medium

They have this guy.

267_medium

We don't have that guy.  (He's sitting this game)

Jamal_edit_medium

We have that guy.

BUT WE STILL GONNA LOSE.

R Dizzle's Fantasy Basketball Predictions

  • Warriors win by 15
  • AR comes down with 25 mins, 20 points, 10 boards
  • Rob Kurz with another double-double
  • Boozer gets shut down by our killer defense and is held to 5 points
  • Deron Williams gets stuffed by Turiaf

You KNOW you want to

you can try all you want. You can close your eyes, you can run away, but you will ALWAYS be back. Welcome to your life.

stop yourself from watching this game?

Find a woman with handcuffs ? preferably not a police officer

Now wheres the rubbers? Whose got the rubbers?

R Dizzle again?

So while Nellie rotates his veterans, is GSOM sticking to one veteran for the rest of the season? Oh I see. He just loves that Crawford pic in a suit with the arrow on him.

Anyway, good job to Barnes today. On my way home from the office, I heard the Lakers @ Suns game and the Lakers were coming back, but Barnes made a critical 3 late in the game to keep the lead comfortable. Said the radio play-by-play, it was a “cold blooded” shot.

by IQofaWarrior on Mar 1, 2009 3:37 PM PST reply actions   0 recs

Saw the geme and both x-warriors did good

Barnes was Barnes at his best and any time Koby’s teeth get knocked in it’s a good thing.

There's a party in my mind.
And I wish that I was there.

I don’t know about you guys, but I feel confident that we can hang around with the Jazz. Even if Biedrins doesn’t play and even though we’re without Jackson because Nellie has officially lost his brain, we can play with any team at home and I think this one will come down to the fourth quarter. We’re going to have to a chance.

really?

who is going to match up to boozer and Ak47?

by saintdee on Mar 1, 2009 5:50 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

Rob Kurz and Jermareo Davidson, perhaps?

I don’t anticipate Boozer getting a lot of playing time. The Jazz aren’t going to rush into anything. This is only going to be his fourth game back.
