While playing the Sixers tonight (Mar 20, 2009), Jim mentions that we had 9 players with 25+ nights. At the end of the game, Brandan Wright scored exactly 25 points too, bringing the total to 10 players. So it got me wondering what the season highs were for each player. After the game, I looked through each player's game log to find out their season scoring high. Here's the list. A * denotes the player has scored 25 or more this season.
* Kelenna Azubuike 25
* Marco Belinelli 27
Andris Biedrins 23
* Jamal Crawford 50
Jermareo Davidson 11
* Monta Ellis 29
* Stephen Jackson 35
Rob Kurz 20
* Corey Maggette 32
* Anthony Morrow 37
Anthony Randolph 20
Ronny Turiaf 15
* C.J. Watson 26
* Brandan Wright 25
----------
* Al Harrington 26
At first, I only found 9 players, until I thought maybe they included Al Harrington in the stats. Sure enough, they did, so he's at the bottom there.
Of course, season high scoring don't indicate the consistency, reliability, and defensive strengths/weaknesses of a player, but it does go to show that our team this season has a lot of depth. And having a deep team is one of the ingredients to a successful team in the long run.
