This guy never quits... Al will always be the guy who could score but couldnt guard his shadow. Thanks for the memories Al- the people of NYC are starting to turn on you now too

That is actually a bad call.

A player walks right beneath him as he pulls up. The only problem is that Al doesn’t allow contact, and he pulls up before the guy gets there.

I’m no Al Harrington fan. Sucks for Knicks fans.

Actually if a player is going to pass beneath you then it is considered OK.

He just saw the guy coming and the ref didn’t. So he called it on the pull up even though the guy was going to pass beneath him no matter what.

he shouldn't have pulled up

if he just hung there and yelled that the dude’s under him, he’d be fine.

Bad call...

…that swung a game. Shouldn’t have been called to begin with. Thornton passing under is as much a risk to Harrington as vice versa, and Al not wanting to come down on top of him was the safest, most conscious play he could’ve made. The fact that one ref missed this is a shame, but that none of the other crew stepped in to straighten this out is silly. Epic fail on the crew.
