Too bad it doesn't really matter.  Sure, play for pride and never quit - I like that philosophy.  But at some point we're going to want wins. 

At the beginning of the season, we all thought it would be hard to repeat the 07-08 win total - 48.  Well here we are with 9 games left in the season with 48 losses and barely looking at 30 wins.  Not to mention that the Memphis Grizzlies could sweep us with in the season series this year.

In case you haven't heard - Jack's out for the rest of the season as he's going to get surgery done tomorrow to a bone fragment in his toe.  Beans is still doubtful, Bellinelli is doubtful, JD is out for the season, and Brandan Wright is listed as day-to-day.

Wright has some shoulder soreness in the same shoulder he separated.

It happened in the Spurs game. He played through it in the Mavs game. But it was sore enough for him to be taken out of the lineup.

HOUSTON (AP) — Los Angeles Clippers guard Baron Davis sat out Saturday night against Houston because of a strained calf and a recurrence of stomach ulcers.

Davis also missed Friday’s loss to San Antonio. He strained his right calf in the Clippers’ 140-135 overtime win over New York on Wednesday. Doctors in San Antonio diagnosed Davis with ulcers, an illness he said he’s dealt with before in his pro career.

“It comes and goes. Once it calms down, I’ll be able to play,” Davis said, as he munched crackers in the locker room. “It kind of just came on.”
