Thank you Nellie!!!

OK Guys, this is a direct letter going out to Nellie!

Mr. Nelson. Today Warriors had this starting lineup and following backup:

Ellis (PG i can only assume here),

Crawford(SG he is a bit bigger),

Turiaf(center in his heart),

Randolph(PF),

Azubuike(SF)

with following backup:

Morrow(SG/ potential SF),

Kurz(SF/PF),

CJ Watson( scoring PG )

This squad has the best upside of any Warrior team in the past 15 years. Monta and Crawford realistically can dramatically improve their defense together this off-season, and so can Watson. Both Watson and Monta will gain more confidence, and could be dominant 1-2 punch in our offence. Crawford can play the "playmaker" SG, as as long as he provides on defensive end. Of course we hear about Nellie trying to oust Crawford, but he may stay, if he shows real effort and production on defensive end over the last 8 games.

Randolph can be one of the most dominant players in this league, once he learns to control his athleticism. Azubuike is more athletic than Joe Johnson, but with less handles. Still could be All-Star, especially in Nellie system.

Morrow is definitely trying to add "dribble penetration" to his game, and I think he is getting more and more successful at it. Whether he can really do it is still debatable, but he does not need much because of how fast his release is. He can be 15 point per game threat for a long time.

CJ can score in bunches as well. Nellie's decision to play Kurz so much, especially with Randolph in the lineup had come under fire on this blog. But, his and Rudolph's career this is probably the most Kurz will play ever, so this should give him extra confidense to play down the line. All Nellie says s that Kurz can shoot, and he has seen Morrow, so must have seen flashes of something special.

Overall Warrios look impressive, with decline of other teams in the West their chances for playoffs next year look great. Let's not talk about trades, but with this draft Warrios should add 1 strong power forward( David West type ) and 2 guards: 1 very quick (hopefully aaron brooks) and 1 very good defender who can pass( andre miller, billups or someone with similar style ).

Once again, thank you Nellie! This team is awesome, we all having a blast watching them run fast-break!

I don’t know about great. Hopefully we’ll get better and have better luck with sustaining injuries more next year. Hopefully everyone is healthy and we make the right moves in the draft (I personally think we should draft the best PG available), drop a couple of hefty contracts (either Crawford or Maggette), pick up some key free agents and or trade a couple of guards to get another solid rebounder. I know Nelly plans on finishing his contract with the Warriors so i’ve already accepted that, although i don’t necessarily agree but if he’s here, i’d like them to put together a team that he feels can win now! If we can get Bosh and not give up too many key pieces, than i’m all for it but I think the main thing that we need to “right this ship” would be a TRUE point guard and one solid true center or true PF. Enough of the tweeners. I just really hope the dubs can get it together.

Refs YOU SUCK!

Ray and I were belting out our lungs tonight, so if Barnett or Steinmetz thought it was bad taste..they can suck the big one!
There were some truly shocking calls tonight, mainly by one ref. You do not get roughly 16,000 fans all chanting “Ref You Suck” unless it was truly bad.

Tonight was truly bad.

When 15 shoved Monta…he should have been gone….but nothing… They let the Grizzlies in tonght with key moment calls, unfortunately that took the attention of our young rookies away from the game.

Also Monta has got to learn that he is not the best 3 point shooter on our team and as such, if we need three’s at the end…..he has to get the ball to our pure shooters (like Morrow, Buike, even CJ now) and let them do the job! That is where his PG skills need some improvement. Dont get me wrong, he played well tonight, but he still has much to learn about PG duties. I also thought Crawford had a good game again tonight, could have hit a few more of his shots but some of his offensive plays destroyed their defensive shape and was good to watch.

It's about heart, It's about fight, It's about being a Warrior!

Ellis had 5 turnovers. He also had 5 assists

A 1:1 ratio for a point guard is terrible. Whenever I watch the game, he is super sloppy handling the rock. He always mishandles the ball and watches it roll out of bounds or when he recieves a drop off pass he fumbles it out of bounds.

I am not sold at all with him at the point. Draft a point guard either Rubio if we get lucky or Jennings if we stay where we are. Trade Ellis and change for Bosh.

We tried...

We tried hard to come back (I stayed the whole game), but why does Nellie keep on having Monta shoot all of these threes? Morrow is the guy who needs the ball.

To… Morrow to Morrow just PASS IT to MORROW… he’ll shoot the DAY-LIGHTS a-WAY!

Plain and simple.

BritWarriorGSW – good seeing you loud as always buddy. You need to stop by more often. I fault the loss as well as my voice hasn’t been the same since 3 weeks ago (Warriors games and a few other things), but I should be OK for this coming Wednesday against the Kings.

Let’s avenge that 3-OT BS last time!

"This squad has the best upside of any Warrior team in the past 15 years."

You lost me with your first sentence. Sorry. The depth just isn’t there, maybe with a big guy coming off the bench that can score you could have something. And one person that plays defensive-minded basketball. A few tweaks and you could have a competitive squad.

sarcasm

wow whoever wrote this is an idiot. crawford is horrible, and your favorite coach (nellie) said that Crawford will either be bought out or traded this summer. I can’t stand watching another game of Crawford running down the court shooting whenever he touches the ball, and then not getting back on defense. I think its time to end the tenure of Nellie, Crawford, and Rowell. How come the W’s have the most loyal fans, and still never do shit to improve??
