particularly that nellie says monta can only be great if he converts to the point and acknowleding that he’s overplaying jack. nellie’s always a good interview. i can’t wait to try pretending we won.

I KNEW some of the injuries were bogus. We may have been in full-on tank mode way earlier in the season than they had led us to believe. Which is good, Blake Griffin will fit in nicely here.
Nelson and the 3
So Nellie thinks the warriors are light at the 3, and that his only real 3 is Jackson? (and Kelenna can play the 3)….

What is Maggette then? surely not a 4!
Maggette, Jackson, and ’buike are all capable wing players who can handle the 2 and the 3. And projects to be the same if he works on some things.

That’s about the third time I have heard Nellie forget Maggette when naming players for the 3 or whatever. You get the idea Nellie doesn’t think of Maggette as a real player. He’s a specialist like Shawn Bradley.
Yeah, Nellie thinks of Maggette
as an off the bench scoring machine. I think that’s why Nellie doesn’t name Maggette in his list of 3’s.
