Around SBN: PHOTOS: Mike Moser's Dunk Face Is Spectacular

Yet for all the electrifying blocks and thunderous dunks he's delivered this season, Randolph says he's most proud of something he didn't do this year: Go south after getting iced out by Nelson and the coaching staff.

"I could've handled it a lot of different ways, and it could've ended up way worse than it was." said Randolph, who cited communication as the biggest key to his turnaround.

"You tell me what to do, I'll do it, like you're seeing toward the end of the season. All I needed was somebody to tell me what I had to do, what not to do, or what to work up to."
=============
I think this has been mentioned by Bob and Jim on the broadcasts a few times. This was the first time Randolph had been "coached", having someone tell him how he should and should not play. And you have to give credit to Randolph for WANTING to be coached.

I'm a fan...

I was waiting for Randolph to show maturity and show he could be coached. I am officially a big Randolph fan, now. I would’ve been saying TRADE HIM, if things had continued the way they were.

.

This is what I really like about the guy. His mentality and skills have improved so much since the beginning of the season. The guy has shown us what he can do physically, and as the season has been going along, he has been playing smarter basketball and within his abilities. The guy is still very young and it’s nice to see him trying to understand how to get better in the NBA, and actually working towards it.
