Warrior Wonder Standings (Season Recap)
The Warriors season is finally over as they finish with under 30 wins for for first time since 2002. With B-Diddy gone, Stephen Jackson was asked to carry a team of youngsters, journeymen, newcomers, and scrubs. Jack dida so with heart and courage every game, in addition to playing 40 minutes a night and often being the team's primary ballhandler. Despite all this Jackson put up career highs in ppg, apg, and rpg, and even increased his fg% from last year.
Jackson had many unforgettable moments in the season, including his game sealing three vs. Minnesota (above), his two great games against the defending champion Celtics, including in the huge upset the day after Christmas, his back to back eyeballings of LeBron late in the loss to Cleveland, his heroic effort in that bs loss to the Spurs, his first career triple-double against Phoenix two nights later, and finally his great back to back games against New Jersey and Dallas in March. These moments, and the heart the captain played with every night is why Stephen Jackson is the Warrior Wonder of the Year.

This FanPost is a submission from a member of the mighty Golden State of Mind community. While we're all here to throw up that W, these words do not necessarily reflect the views of the GSoM Crew. Still, chances are the preceding post is Unstoppable Baby!

I'm still stoked I got to contribute one recap this season
Anyway, I have to give respect to Jack for going beyond his normal game to try to lead this team on the offense this season. That led to all of his idiotic moments where he’d make a bad pass and turn it over or drive stubbornly into 3 or 4 defenders and then to complain to the refs. Nevertheless, he took up the challenge and tried.
It’s been said many times (including Nellie once on the radio) that Jack should NOT be a team’s best player, but either the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th option. With Nellie giving Randolph the green light on playing point-power-forward, CJ Watson running the offense on backup, and hopefully Monta playing the point-shooting-guard well, I expect Jack will have less of a load to carry, and fewer chances of making those boneheaded turnovers.
