Mike Brown wins NBA Coach of the Year Award [Fear the Sword]
A well deserved honor for the good man. He's been one of the league's most underrated coaches for several years now.

Believe it or not, but a former GSW coach from the drought finished second [The Dream Shake].

Is mike brown a good coach?

If you replace him with basically any other coach I think the Cavs would still win 66 games. All I remember about Brown as a coach is the Finals series against the Spurs where he couldn’t get the best basketball player in the world open. He does not know how to coach offense.

he’s better now than he was then. just like any new profession, there’s a learning curve and brown has become a much better offensive coach than he was when the cavs were in the finals. watch them play and compare it to a couple years ago. it looks like the offense is actually planned out beyond “everyone stand outside the 3 point arc and lebron work”.

i’d have gone with stan van gundy, personally, but brown did a very good job this year. congrats to him.
