Questions, Questions, Questions.....
Well as many of you know, I have been rather critical of the marketing department for GSW this year and have felt that the season ticket holders, especially in Club 200 have had a pretty poor service in the 08/09 season.
Lets just say I created a rather long email, with a number of points that I was less than happy about and offered ideas for areas of improvement. I'll hold my handup and say it was pretty direct and basically called the head of maketing's head on a silver platter....anyway....this was sent to a number of departments within the organisation and on this coming Wednesday I will get to spend some time before and during the game with a certain Mr R. Rowell to discuss some of thse areas of concern ....
So as I discussed today with Ray at the BBQ... I am sure there are some of you who have certain "questions" you would love to get answers to and dont get chance to ask, well I will do my damn best to ask and get answers to a number of Q's on behalf of GSOM.
So...open thread and I'll pick a selection on Wednesday to ask.
This FanPost is a submission from a member of the mighty Golden State of Mind community. While we're all here to throw up that W, these words do not necessarily reflect the views of the GSoM Crew. Still, chances are the preceding post is Unstoppable Baby!

wow. that is awesome Brit GSdub.
If you can, please shove this in his face that for any STH that have renewed for next season in this crazy economic crisis, keep the current pricing the same for the next decade no matter what… as a compensation to all STH loyal Warrior fans.
I would think more than half of STH’s would agree, and they don’t give a rat’s ass about the free gifts, free BBQ’s etc.
All we care about is not screwing us over with so-called upgraded costs. Show some damn respect for us fans and keep the pricing the same for season tickets no matter what.
We fans support the Warriors no matter what, so the pricing shouldn’t change no matter what either. Punk.
Eat a deck Rowell and Cohan.

I've signed up for Season Tix for Next Season
I browse Golden State of Mind every so often as I enjoy the comments. I’m actually picking my seats tomorrow for next season. Since they lowered the prices in certain sections, I figured why not ‘cause by season’s end I’ll be at almost half the home games this season. I’ve always wanted to be a STH and for once, I can afford it.
Anyways, I agree with Romes, I know the prices went down a bit this season, but I’d be concerned if the Warriors have a slightly better record next year, that the organization will bump up prices. I mean even good teams like the Lakers have decided to keep their prices the same in this economy and we know they are above and beyond what we want our team to be. The Warriors need to be a consistent winning team to bump up prices……… I don’t buy the argument that costs are high and they’ll need to keep increasing them because money is made at the food stands…… My cousin paid $11 for a beer in Club 200 just to get me a Souvenier cup the other day!
I think it’s great that Club 200 is geared towards kids, but what about the adults that are the ones spending the money? I talked to my friend the other day and he told me as a STH, there are no discounts on food and drinks, but one of Marketing’s big selling points is the $99 family and friends offer with hot dogs, chips, and sodas. Why not kick some of the love to the loyal ones too that frequent games and not just the ‘once in a while’ folks. I"m not hating on them, but think that the love should be shared. Of course, if the discount was on beer, the Arena wold get more money out of me! lol
I’m sure to start commenting more after I start making my payments!

How did this come about? Was it a direct response to your critical letter? I’m curious because I remember you saying that they were initially dismissive.

No I said they simply had not responded..
Well they did respond and it seems it went to the top of the tree. So I am looking forward to sitting down with him and chatting over a few things.
It's about heart, It's about fight, It's about being a Warrior!

Cool...
Good for you for making your voice heard. Good luck with the meeting. Hopefully he really listens to what you have to say instead of blowing smoke. Let us know how it goes.

Ask him to move the team down to SanHo so it’s not such a far drive? I got money I’d like to be able to give him.
Now wheres the rubbers? Whose got the rubbers?
I noticed there's so many of them
and there's really not that many of us.
