what position did he play in college?

shooting guard.

in the nba hes at best a combo guard… wait a minute don’t we have a few of those? isnt that what monta and cj and marco are trying to be?

by saintdee on Apr 10, 2009 12:46 AM PDT up reply actions

we would never have found out

he only played like 5 minutes at a time. any little mistake and nellie sat his ass down.

Maybe he should have gotten himself a real shot first.

Congrats

Demarcus did have a lot of potential. I remember back in Vallejo watching him play at the park and thinking to myself he could play in the NBA. Anyway i’m happy for him. congrats Demarcus.

wasn't he our season starting point guard?

Now wheres the rubbers? Whose got the rubbers?
I noticed there's so many of them
and there's really not that many of us.

only cause

our other choice was a “allegedly unfit” pg who cant shoot and a combo guard cj watson who had a dislocated elbow

I Never Understood

How we released DeMarcus and let Marcus Williams sit on the bench all season.

At least keep someone around that had potential vs. someone we knew sucked.

Demarcus played D and that should have at least kept him as a 14th/15th man.

he was released because mwill cost too much

I believe they said nellie wanted mwill bought out but rowell was too cheap. Nelson was released if I remember to make space for monta returning from his suspension?

we’d have probably done more good by playing Demarcus all year and putting Montay on the shelf till next year, that way Demarcus coulda been an experienced defensive minded backup point guard for next year.

Now wheres the rubbers? Whose got the rubbers?

demarcus

would have stayed if al harrington hand’t left. crawford’s arrival meant the end for demarcus

by saintdee on Apr 10, 2009 4:16 PM PDT up reply actions

Yeah, but I think we’d have made a better investment of time if we’d groomed Demarcus as back up point to free up some trading capital. Montay’s year was pretty much a bust as everyone expected when he got injured, no reason to play him at all this season since we knew he’d take a whole year to recover to game shape.
