Would it be better if Cohan was a more visible fan?

Mark Cuban got busted for trash talking to Kenyon Martin's mom   http://www.comcast.net/articles/sports-nba/20090511/Cuban.051109/

I kind of like this.  It could be considered a bit low class, but it sounds like Mom can dish it out, so she should be able to take it.  You gotta think the mother of a player like Kenyon is used to some loud mouth-ism and knows how to deal with it.

What if Cohan was visible at the games, swearing and stressing over every call?  Talking trash to fans and opposing players?  Calling out the refs for bad fouls or missed calls damn the fines?

We would still be a losing team, with bad concessions, and no direction in the front office, but we would know his heart was in it.  That would make a huge difference for me the more I think about it.

Why even bother to own a team if you are not going to be a die hard fan?  There are better ways to make money than owning a (losing) sports franchise.

To answer your question in the title:

Cohan being more visible would make it easier to throw things at him. Yes it would be much better.

Do they sell milkshakes or Orange Julius at Oracle?

Chris Cohan and Robert Rowell? Oh no hide the children!

It makes no difference ...

The truth is, when you’re winning, having a very proactive owner is great. When you’re losing, it sucks. When you’re winning, though, having a behind the scenes owner is great – he trusts the basketball people. When you’re losing, it sucks – you want someone to shake things up.

Cohan has proven himself pretty incompetent; I was willing to give him some benefit of the doubt until this year, with the whole Rowell-Mullin-Nelson leadership fiasco.

And given that he’s incompetent, I fail to see how having him be more involved would be a net plus.

On the other hand

being more visible can mean more circus type distractions for the coaches and players to have to deal with during the game. Plus “being visible” can also get to the point where he steps into team huddles to try to inject his own thoughts on how to play the game. I don’t think any coach would like that kind of an intrusion during the game.

I don't really like it.

I see it as low class. I never liked Mark Cuban. He’s very uhm douchey…

But Cohan doesn’t have to be like Cuban and do the crap-talking. He should be a more visible fan but at a respectable level.

Azubuike? More like Azucutie!

Cohan=Loser

When the Warriors are watching sub par teams like the Bulls and 76’ers in the Playoffs every year for the past, ahum, 15 years and Cohan has been the Owner since then, nothing else matters. Cohan is a failure and loser. F’ing Tony PSD could run the team and they could still win 29 games a year. Cohan is THE worst owner in the NBA, NFL, MLB and NHL. Bar-none. No doubt. No questions…

wow I love that clip of nellie in the mailman's face

Growing up I always saw the mailman as a bigger than life kind of guy. he seemed so huge and strong. Nellie is basically the same size, maybe an inch shorter.
I will have to go find some old celtics games and check out nellie’s playing days.

hard to say Cohan is a loser when his franchise is raking in money and keeps us coming back. I hate the way we lose, but he is doing something right
