yes because clearly nobody will offer them anything better than Marco Belinelli and the 7th pick for a guy who is pretty clearly the 2nd best player available in the draft. I’m guessing the 7th pick, Marco and Wright might not be enough to make them seriously consider it, taking the most valuable piece out of that deal isn’t likely to help our chances.

I don't see...

I don’t see the Raps giving up Bosh, rental or not, for Jamison and Haywood. They want youth, and good youth @ that.

I don’t see the Wiz wanting to double up on an on the Combo guards, or double stacking the 3 spot w/ Mags and Caron.

I don’t see the Warriors going ANYWHERE w/ that lineup.

I don’t think I should have even replied to this.

I agree that the Raptors don’t get enough back in this deal. They’re basically giving up Bosh to get Jamison and Haywood and move up 5 spots in an awful draft.

I think the Warriors do this in a heartbeat assuming Bosh would sign to an extension (no way you give up 5 years on Monta for 1 of Bosh). Getting Bosh for Monta and Maggette and moving back 2 spots would be a great deal.

I think the Wizards could go either way on this one. Jamison is a flawed player who isn’t very good at rebounding and straight bad at defense. We know how good his offense is. Giving up Haywood wouldn’t be that painful, either. I think they’d be intrigued by Monta. Gilbert’s a big guard and I think he could cope with guarding 2’s for Monta. Maggette would bring them something strong off the bench. They also move back 2 spots in the draft.

Overall, I think the main problem with this interesting idea is Toronto isn’t getting back enough. I think they’d only do this deal if they were positive they couldn’t re-sign Bosh. Even then it’s a stretch, IMO.

how come

i feel like our team will never be a “great” team for a while? kinda makes me sad…

and all this false hope from these trade talks don’t help at all…

Cant we still trade Rick Barry and Tom Tolbert?

They have to be worth something good based on their talent to salary ratios
Tobert (92) $506,000
Barry (74) $238,000
